I dont ever really recall their being any hype about this game. But yet it's a great game. The story in my opinion is very good and the battle system is good too. But if you have heard of the game and played it what are your thoughts? What about it's sequel? I remember reading about a sequel in the making and that the game was tryin to be some kind of franchise like the FF series! L.O.D. falls in my top 5 RPG's of all time! I don't expect to play a game that would take FF VII down from it's #1 place. If you dont already own this game I think you should pick it up, it's only $10-$15 for the PS 1. It's well worth the time!

You & I recall differently SCEA spent a lot of money on this game's development & publicity to try & create their own Final Fantasy-like franchise. It didn't work.

If it is, I never played the game, but the ad was memorable .

I really enjoyed this title. Cool battle engine and good story. I know a lot of people didn't like it (from what I remember), but I thought it was a pretty damn good RPG.

Oh... Talk about bad memory :green:. But I do recall them wanting to make it a Final Fantasy type of franchise. The game was real good IMHO, I dont think it would of made much of a franchise regardless but hey you never know!
