I believe this is the one year anniversary of the LCVG forums also (or just shy). Bravo!

We'll have to double check with Kelley, but I think the forum went live on 4/6/03, at least going by the join date Kelley has.

Good job everyone :tu:

Interesting question, stencil, I'd like to know the answer.

I think I'm one of them. Kelley joined on April 6th, Romier and I on the 10th, and Ed on the 11th.

Shame there wasn't some sort of early adopter program that would somehow result in me getting a new GameCube :lmfao:

Truely a milestone. I built the forums on 4/6/03 because I was REALLY bored that day, actually I think I started on like 4/4/03, but ran into some MySQL + PHP issues with Windows Server, but solved them on 4/6/03 and did the original style and boom, here we are today almost one year later sitting over 50,000 post and 333 members! What makes all that amazing is we have done it with NO MAIN WEBSITE and NO ADVERTISING!!!! I hope to be here the day we hit 50,000,000 post, and I promise by the time we reach that we will have a main site :P

Another point besides that which also pleases me is that in one year we have only removed two people from this forum and both of those were not done lightly and required some heavy deliberation. That, IMHO speaks volumes about the community everyone has contributed too here and more importantly how self-reliant a great deal of people here are in self-moderating and keeping each other in check. Again nice job guys :tu:

If we stay on the same pace, you've got 1000, so I hope you can squeeze it in. Wost case senario, you've got at least a few hundred.

God, that Midtown Madness 3 review might be interesting to read then.

Its an epic I tell you. Scott has crafted something on the level of War and Peace here.

Yup, I needed to upgrade my HDD just to finish writing it. I think the final file size was something like 85GB, so unfortunately it won't fit on the server. But not to worry, you can read it at http://www.thinair.com/MM3_review ;)
