JoeyN
A few days ago i got the Soul Calibur 2 joystick which has connectors for all 3 systems . Problem is the cord is too short and you cant use a xbox extension cable on it(no break away part) . So since i had a Ps2 extension cable i thought id get crafty and try getting a Ps2 to Xbox adapter. Searched and found one at game stop made by Gemini Industries which does Ps2 to Xbox and Gamecube. Here it is at EB. So i set everything up correctly. Pop in my newly bought Soul Cal 2 on the box, ready for a fun hour of arcade joystick gaming. Like the rest of my luck, the converter wont work with the soul calibur joystick. Wont work on the cube either with the joystick. I guess it has to do with the switch system they have. It has a Wheel or a Controller setting. Tried both with no luck. I thought maybe the converter itself may have a problem. Thats not the case. I hooked up the ps2 controller to it and it works like a charm. tested it out on a few Xbox and GC games. It works fine. The ps2 controller actually works really good on a few games. May give it a shot for those few. If your looking to use a Wheel or a Ps2 controller on the xbox or GC, i would recommend it as it works like a charm for that function. However if you have any arcade sticks, buyer beware. My search for a Converter that works for my needn continues capt
Kain rising
Ouch, sorry to hear that it doesn't work for what you needed. (Since I suggested it over in the other thread :? ). However, for those looking at it, I will say it does indeed work with DDR pads, which a lot of other converters don't. Now someone needs to make one that does it all... wheels, sticks, pads, dancepads...
JoeyN
yeah from what ive read it works on pads but it detects the pad as a controller in the game. Not your fault Kain as it was the only one gamestop had so i gave it a shot. Couldnt hurt. Can still use it for a regular ps2 controller capt

Just recently, I've seen extension cords on eBay that are depicted as not using the expansion connector. JoeyN
I e-mailed a few sellers of them, and they all said they hook to the ends of the cords. You can hook up to 3 of them together. They do not hook to the breakaway. Already put in a bid for one capt
