foogledricks
Those who know me, know my vote. I have not played most of the games above. But I can't imagine any of them kicking Ryu's ninja butt.
Chris F
I'm going with PoP, as much as I like Ninja Gaiden. PoP has a great story, and the time abilities really push it over the top.

foogledricks
Prince of Persia was on my xmas list, but I never got it. The demo was great. Definitely on my list of games to get.
AnthonyVolpe
I can't vote fairly until I've played more of NInja Gaiden and PoP. For now I voted for Otogi.
Graeme
Even though I haven't played all of those games, I can't see any of them really topping POP. It's one of the best games I've ever played and almost exactly what I look for in Video Games.
Robot Monkey
I voted null because I haven't played most of the games on the list. But I love PoP.
foogledricks
I have played either the full game or demo for all these games except maximo and dark cloud, which got no votes from anyone so far. I'm sure PoP will be my #2 once I play the full game. Though I doubt it will offer the challenge and length that NG did. Is that correct? Camp
I went with POP. While each of the listed games is unique in many ways I feel Dark Cloud is the most distinctly different. That difference may be evident in the lack of votes thus far. Who voted for Devil May Cry? Ten minutes of "whoa, cool move!" followed by redundant and dull gameplay. General Zot
I went withy Ninja Gaiden. I must admit I haven't played PoP yet *covers face*, but NG was just so hardcore and so tight that it blew me away every single level.
Romier S
Voted "Null" as well since Otogi 2 is not on the list. I consider it the absolute best game in its genre. Six playable characters each with a unique play style, almost 40 challenging and unique levels to work through and a ton of unlockable features and bonus levels. I love it. Also its too bad the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer was not included on that list. it has more depth (fighting engine) and enjoyability than most of the games on there. Oops, I intended to put Buffy in there. Sorry about that. Otogi 2 though, simply doesn't qualify, and wouldn't have gotten votes anyway (besides yours of course )
iainl
Why doesn't Otogi 2 qualify? I'm confused. Null vote for me, by the way - I don't think I've played enough of the options. Prince Of Persia is great, though.

Chris F
I just realized that Metal Arms isn't on this list. I would have voted that as my choice, seeing as how it's 3rd person and an uber-action game.

I've no idea if its reached (or indeed will ever reach) US shores, but its been out for a while. But then Ninja Gaiden isn't out in Europe yet either. kittycatgirl2k
I voted for GUNVALKYRIE. Why? Because the game wasn't frustrating as hell like Ninja Gaiden (awesome grafix, but too hard for my wimped out skillz or lack thereof) and Prince of Persia (some of this game just makes you wanna bang your head into that brick wall, literally). It was beautiful and amazing... really underrated.
scobeto
I voted for POP, but I haven't played Ninja Gaiden yet... :?
FLYING SE7EN
I've only played DMC, POP and Ninja Gaiden. My vote is for Ninja Gaiden but POP gave it a really close run for its money. PoP wins for its story and sheer "enjoyability", but Ninja Gaiden was a rare game that sucked me into a place close to gaming nirvana. J-fo said it best when he described getting into "the zone" and becoming one with the character.
foogledricks
I will have to go back an purchase POP... after I play Ninja Gaiden, again!
