Fun piece to read, it had me laughing out loud, especially the part about the ice cream machine. Gag me with a spoon!

No, seriously, you'd literally have to gag me with a spoon and stick a fork in my eye before before you could get me to eat anything out of that machine. puke-smiley.gif

Best line of that story,...

I could not play his wife, but I could eat his chip.

Sounds even better out of context! :lmfao:

X-Entertainment is one of the best websites on the 'net for nostalgia, I have it permanently bookmarked. The guy has my sensibilities for writing style as well, with the long-winded metaphors and such so I doubly enjoy it.

Also, he has literally one of the only sites online that remembers Saturday's Supercade.

That Icecream machine was just nasty.... and I'm not all that picky about stuff like that.

I was reading a bunch today and really enjoyed most of the articles.

Here's one really nice blurb from the American Galdiators Candy story.

Manufactured by the Ferrara Food Company (don't worry, I checked it out, they're legit) in 1993, "American Gladiators Bars" were small cubes of "delicious chewy nougat candy." With every phrase I add to the description, your fears will only grow worse. In 1993, the candy likely held its shape quite well. By 2004, the candy had degenerated into what looks like brighter versions of the afterbirth my dog forgot to lick up when it had puppies last year.

:? If you check out the picture, you'll see he's probably not far off the mark.

LOFL... most of AC's casinos are like that... although the new Borgata is Vegas caliber

In other words its slots are tighter in order to pay for the dump. And the guy at the entrance dressed as a statue that probably doesn't even work there anymore.

Screw Atlantic City.
