Romier S
So getting Kill Bill Vol. 1! I might also pick up Booty Call. Guilty Pleasure of mine (still lose it on the saran wrap scene :lmfao: ).
Failsafe
Kill Bill Vol. 1 for sure! That's it for me.
The Daisy
"You've got to lick it.... before you kick it" I have a soft spot for Booty Call as well. I'm just not sure if I'll pick it or Kill Bill up. Glen
Orpheus
Kill bill for sure. If that Sexy Space Box set were a bit cheaper I'd pick it up as well, jsut because it sounds awful from the description on amazon. Unzip that space suit and climb aboard for the ultimate close encounter! Oh yea, the marial arts double features wil certainly get consideration as well. Carlucci
Will be making a special trip just for Kill Bill. I wish it had more supplements, but I'm sure they'll sell me a box set later with more goodies. Carlos.
Zathras
B5 for me though I'll wait to see what costco is selling it for. Oh and FYI BB has the new versions of Sixteen Candles and the Breakfast Club bundled for 19.99 now.
Carlucci
FYI, the Soundtrack to Kill Bill v2 is available now as well. I'm listening to it now, and digging it so far. I picked it up, and took advantage of the 2 for $20 to get Kill Bill and Resevoir Dogs. Carlos.

Angel P
Oh and FYI BB has the new versions of Sixteen Candles and the Breakfast Club bundled for 19.99 now. Good find. Gonna have to jump on that offer. Picked up Kill Bill. Anyone see it on dvd yet? I'm intrigued that there are ways to find out the Bride's real name in the movie. I missed on the opportunities during the theatrical viewing. I'd rather not find out on a HTF thread.
Ryan FB
Good find. Gonna have to jump on that offer. If you aren't opposed to ordering online (or hunting around in stores), you can get the "Brat Pack" or "High School Reunion Collection" which includes Sixteen Candles, Wierd Science, and The Breakfast Club (new versions) for $30-$36 (going by the prices on DVD Price Search). EDIT: Oh wait. Bundled. Sorry, I can't read.
exile
Kill Bill here. It looks and sound fantastic. I will be double dipping on this release. Timeline is a rental at best. I've heard it's pretty terrible.
kelley
Kill Bill has some of the best DTS audio on any DVD. I can't believe the reviewers sad the transfer wasn't that good either, glad i didn't pass on it.

The DTS audio is impressive and the video from what I could tell on my 32" which just got replaced is pretty good. I'll know more tonight when I put it on the new 55"
Jordan_E
Watched Kill Bill last night and I have to say it's probably the best looking QT movie I've ever seen! Loved the look of the Uma/Lucy snow fight. Going to watch Timeline today. Hey, I'm a sucker for time travel movies. But I'm going to have my crackers ready for this piece of cheese, I think! 8)
DataTox
I was going to wait on Kill Bill, but will probably pick it up. I am a little concerned with QTs history with releasing special editions and don't want to wait 2 or 3 years for the "extra special edition" to get this on DVD (although studio feet dragging probably had a lot to do with that). So, I guess that means I will be double-dipping. I remarked to a friend while watching the movie in theaters that the Bride/O-Ren fight was one of the most beautiful setups I had ever seen in an action movie. Can't wait to spin that scene on DVD. Failsafe
Watched Kill Bill last night as well. I thought the PQ was quite acceptable and couldn't understand why some reviews slammed it so bad. Sure, the image was a tad soft and there was sporadic edge enhancement, but the colours and black levels were rock-solid. There was also nary a blemish to be found. 4.5/5 for PQ Unfortunately I don't have my 5.1 setup hooked up right now (it's 3 hours away) so I can't comment on the sound. I wish I had been able to watch it in DTS. Alas, I my television's internal speakers had to suffice.
