Mark E
GameSpy has a new interview up with Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's new president after the other guy got himself committed . Seriously though, a very interesting interview and some rather refreshing "yeah, we didn't do this right or that right". I'll be interested to see how the philosophy espoused here performs in the next generation, but I'm glad to see Nintendo's focus is still on games. That's probably why I'm very big on their systems. Very good read, anyway. Iwata Interview
The Daisy
I really like his frankness in that article. Games like F-Zero and Star Fox are showing that Nintendo is changing it's attitude about how it wants to work with 3rd party vendors. That's the kinds of changes that it needs to make for the next generation, in order to bring in more gamers. It already has me, so there are no worries there. Mark E
I really like his frankness in that article. Yeah, that's what I like too. Nintendo does some weird-ass business decisions sometimes, but I like the fact that they are very no-bullshit about certain things, including how the company is doing. They don't dance around the issue here and they're not half as ignorant as people suspect, they just kind of do their own thing. Whether that'll work out or not remains to be seen . Whether that'll work out or not remains to be seen. I agree with that. From my perspective as a videogame fan/consumer for nearly 30 frickin' years now (yes I feel old too), Nintendo's "problem" is that they simply aren't making enough games that appeal to me lately. So, my advice to them is "make more games that Dan likes".

Dan B.
How many remember when Simon, the Atari 2600, the Odyssey 2, & Coleco Head to Head Football came out. (some of my earliest game systems that I can remember) If you had the first Magnavox Odyssey, then you are even older than I am! :green:
