Camp
Anyone know if it's possible to place dividers between the Quicklaunch icons within the taskbar? I'd like to group the various apps by genre.
The Daisy
You know what? I thought they removed the quick launch icons in XP until you mentioned this. I haven't even thought about them since I got XP. I have all my important programs setup right under the start button. Glen
iainl
I don't think so, but you can create a new, additional toolbar easily enough. Create a directory somewhere (preferably with a really short name, as the new section will have that name written on it). Right-click the taskbar and select Toolbars > New Toolbar. Select the new directory, and fill it full of all the shortcuts you need. For added flashness, Icon size (small or large) can be selected independantly for each toolbar, so you can have a cluster of small icons for most things, and then one or two large ones for programs you like to drag files onto. Kain rising
I think you can create multiple groups - not sure if that puts dividers in there or not. And it may also depend on if you are using a classic theme, or an XP Style theme. I'd try to have better answers, but my XP machine is at home, and I'm at work
The Daisy
I found a utility today when I was working on something else at work. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but here's the link. Taskbar Grouping Glen
Covak
You might wanna check out True Launch Bar if you wanna do nice, funky things with your quicklaunch bar.
