The Daisy
Ok, this would have been an unbelievable story up until a few years ago. Google stops a terrorist threat Read down to the 2nd to last story on the page. Edit: Since when was Headhunter "popular"? Glen
dogbert
Call me cynical, but I suspect that story is pure press hype from Sega in the first place...

If that's the best they can do at guerilla marketing, I fear for them.
MastaRedSnappa
I hear the government has been monitoring alot of Internet activity about a growing underworld problem in Vice City. As soon as the wanted level reaches six stars, the troops are being sent in.
AnthonyVolpe
I'm seriously considering not paying taxes anymore if the FBI is that f#@!$ng stupid.
Robot Monkey
Like Brian says, it sounds like a bit of nonsense. The "article" claims that Director Meuller was briefed on the situation. Who briefed him and what material was contained in the brief? IOW, I could believe someone dumb enough to spin their gears over this -- but not for more than a second or two. Who can prepare a brief on a fictional character without figuring out the joke?
The Daisy
It does sound a bit off, but it was quoted from US News and World Report. Don't shoot the messenger. Glen
Robot Monkey
Nah, no one's taking you to task. But a regular column specifically designed for uncredited, uncited, unsubstantiated rumors doesn't strike me as a good source for anything. -j
foogledricks
Sega, a terrorist group? Finally, somebody said it. I've thought this for years.
