secretvampire
I was wondering if there had been any indication from Konami about releasing Castlevania: Dracula X for the PS1 or PS2. I figured that the Castlevania Chronicles disc for PS1 was a step closer to it, but still nothing. I have almost all of the Castlevania titles released on the various platforms, and I have seriously considered buying a Turbo Duo system and dropping the ridiculous sum on Ebay for a Japanese copy of Dracula X. But a) I'm broke and I know the moment I do that, they will announce it for $29.99 for the PS1 or something. Aaaaaaahhhhh!
kelley
On the interview on Castlevania: Chronicles he did say that he wants to do another Chronicles with Rondo of Blood. Lets allow them to finish Lament and then we can start hounding for Rondo.
secretvampire
Hahah...that sounds like a good plan. I don't mean to imply in any way that I'm not looking forward to Lament of Innocence!!!
Hank Scorpio
Have you guys ever played Rondo for TurboGrafx 16? I have not - and never will. My funds are not nearly vast enough to afford it. Chronicles was fun, but damn tough. I'd love to see Rondo released over here. Call it sacrilege, but I'd almost rather see that then Lament...I'm still not sold on Lament. Color me skeptical.

secretvampire
Yeah, I know about the whole emulator route, but I'm a bit sick of 'em. There is something a bit sacriligious about playing some of these games on a computer screen. I do it from time to time, but I get a much bigger kick out of playing them on a big screen with a real controller in my hands. A PS2 (or PS1, wouldn't matter much) would be a great thing! Hank Scorpio
There is something a bit sacriligious about playing some of these games on a computer screen. I agree. While I have no problem with emulating games that are no longer in print, it still doesn't feel the same playing an NES/SNES/Genesis game on a computer. A friend of mine made the comment when we were playing some NES stuff that Nintendo games should only be played while sitting on the floor, and for some reason he's right! NesterDC is an emulator that feels a bit more normal, but it's far from the same thing as a Nintendo Entertainment System.
BertEbony
I picked up a nice 16pin Playstation like remote that I use for my emulation needs (and boy is SNES and Genesis so fun all over again.) I just sit on futon, crank the reciever, and yay.
