Robot Monkey
I'm afraid that I traded it in a while ago, but I'd love to hear about these new game types. -j
Ricky G
Traded mine in too. Might have to re-aquire a cheapie now. :green:
howiedo1n
I am guessing this renewed DLC support was due to the lack of LIVE play in conjunction with the fact that its now free in the new LIVE starter kits..
boogieman
Wow that's a lot of content for this game, and it is free too! I'll be downloading this when I get home tonight. May have to break this title out again and give it some more play time, eventhough I suck horribly. :bang:
Beer Monkey
I'd like to play some this weekend, especially Saturday night (I'm going out Sunday, and probably tonite).
JTello
-Of course I just traded this title in despite really enjoying it a whole lot. The probelm is that I could only get in games with ass-hats after the LCVG support faded into oblivion. I wonder how cheap I could get it for,...mmmm :? DataTox
I was just thinking of trading this in, but now I'll probably hold on to it for a little while longer to try out the DLC.
foogledricks
I held onto this and MM3 for reasons like this. You may see me tonight! I never really got great at the game, but it was definitely a unique online experience.

JoeyN
Well after playing with the new Dl content i can definatly say the wait was worth it. The new game modes are excellent. Chicken pox is a free for all which makes for a lot of action, and the Gun run is excellent for team matchups. The New levels are both excellent. A lot better then caverns . Both are wide open The planes are also fun as well. They each have there uses in different game modes. Glad to see this stuff released. Hopefully they bring more in the coming months capt
Robot Monkey
What are the mechanics of the new game modes? -j
JoeyN
In Chicken Pox for every 3 players there is a chicken. So 9 players 3 chickens. The players with the chickens score points for every person they kill while holding the chicken. Everyone else tries to steal the chickens. In Gun Heist your team has to capture 3 gun turrets. If your team holds all 30 for 60 seconds i believe it is your team wins, or whoever held them the most when time runs out wins capt
Covak
I thought in Chicken Pox you score 2 points for each kill when you have a chicken and 1 point otherwise (when you shoot down a chicken holder).
Thrillho
The rules of Chicken pox as explained in the review of the DL content. "Your goal is to grab a chicken and kill people. You earn points by killing folks while you have a chicken or killing other who have chickens. But the biggest points come when you have a chicken and you kill someone else with a chicken." Robot Monkey
Neat, thanks for the info on the new game types! -j
Covak
What the heck? I thought that when you had a chicken the others with chickens were on your side... I never tried to shoot down another chicken holder, though (since the boxes around 'em were green). Can anyone confirm the rules from personal experience?
Thrillho
Its a total individual game. when you have a chicken you should be shooting everyone. Hell actaully you should just shoot everyone anyway, but you'll only score when the chicken is involved.
Covak
If you don't have a chicken then everyone else who doesn't have a chicken is on your team and you get punished for killing them, just like in any other team mode. That's why I would assume that, when you have a chicken, killing other chicken carriers is a bad thing since the box around them is green... Thrillho
i was thinking that, but if someone is going after a free chicken they're free game.
