ColdForged
I'm playing my first XSN-enabled title -- Rallisport Challenge 2 -- and I'm just curious whether this is representative of the other titles that support XSN. It seems like I have to manually enter in a lot of stuff from the console like the tournament name, password, and "round settings" stuff for each of the tourneys I want to participate in. This is in addition to anything I've entered in at the XSN website. Then, from the console, you get no feedback as to where you are in the event, no standings, you can't even tell whether you beat your own best time. You can't tell who's in the competition, so even if you did want to invite friends, unless you have the list memorized you don't know who is a part of what tourney. It just seems that I spend an awful lot of time walking between my home office to view the website ("Damn, forgot the round setting again") and back to the living room to type another key in using the controller. Is this how all the XSN titles are?

JTello
Unfortunately, you've got it right! Xbox Live works great, ....but XSN can be a painful process. It just seems that I spend an awful lot of time walking between my home office to view the website ("Damn, forgot the round setting again") and back to the living room to type another key in using the controller. Is this how all the XSN titles are? No matter how careful I am copying down the passwords and settings I end up messing them up. And I am not exaggerating, I am extremely careful but I've never gotten it right on the first try. Basically I feel there a way too much room for human error in the whole process. I suspect Microsoft is well aware of these type of no-so-friendly aspects of XSN, and these issues are some of the reason XSN has been put on hiatus this year. Guest Bryan
They did just add information on the right side of each XSN competition page that says 'Enter this on your Xbox' and lists all necessary codes. You could copy that and print it out.
