JoeyN
IGN posted a preview of them this morning. You can check it out at Maps Preview One is called River Mall and the other is Federal Bank. These are full maps and both are for the $5. They say that the maps are full maps, Ubi didnt take shortcuts as everything is made from the ground up capt
EnemaEms
Even though the RS3 maps were all free, I will be more than willing to pay $5 for two more maps for the best online game to date. -Dean-
Guest Bryan
Are there any drawings like these for the maps on the game disc?
ColdForged
My rental regime is getting to be problematic. I've had SC: PT since 3/27 and now I've had RSC2 in for a month. Now I will be able to get more content for one of those -- and you can probably assume there will be a bit more content for the other, too. Just how the hell am I supposed to be playing Riddick and FSW and all that other cool crap when I don't want to ship back what I currently have? DataTox
It's been a while since I last played SC: PT due to my City of Heroes obsession. However, this may be the push I need to get back in to it again.
Chris F
Oh, I'll be getting these maps. SC:PT is probably my favorite Live game, due to the uniqueness of it. Plus, SC:PT had a ton of maps and content, so I won't feel at all bas spending 5$ for some more.
blackcalx
I've had enough trouble just learning the maps that came with it. I'm sure I'll end up getting these just because SC:PT is one of my favorite Live games, but I'm already way behind the learning curve here. JTello
-This one is easy for me, two more maps for an already great game. $5.00 that will be well spent. :tu:
howiedo1n
Am I the only one here that felt that the Multi-player portion of this game was lacking in content and that a premium DL right off the bat is asking a bit much? Don?t get me wrong it is a great game with some great features but.... I know? Theres always one? [edit] Are these the maps that are released with the PS2/GC versions so they can have the claim of exclusive content on the disc?
Robot Monkey
Any news on single-player missions? -j
Chris F
Am I the only one here that felt that the Multi-player portion of this game was lacking in content and that a premium DL right off the bat is asking a bit much? I think that the multiplayer was spot on with lots of maps, and tons of challenge against good players. Plus there wee always tons of ways you could go, and different ways of working with your teammate to accomplish objectives.
Cyberwoo
If more of my live friends played this game on a regular basis I'd be all over this but I hardly ever see anyone playing this game and I'll be damned if I play with the unwashed masses. Maybe if I see a bunch of you LCVGrs playing I'll snag the new maps.
JTello
Am I the only one here that felt that the Multi-player portion of this game was lacking in content and that a premium DL right off the bat is asking a bit much? I'd prefer not to pay for the DL content, but I would actually have to say that IMO I felt the game had enough content out of the box, and I don't feel that they are unjust in asking for us to pay for this new content, and I plan on doing so. If, like you, I had the feeling that they hadn't released enough content initially I certainly wouldn't pay for additional content. You should do as you feel, and developers will adjust thier behavior based on how the overall gaming public reaction is to content distribution vs consumer spending. Cyber-woo, I agree that we have far too few LCVGer's playing SCPT, but I would have to say I believe that this holds true for many games on Live. Basically, although we have a very good core group gamers from LCVG to play with, our cummunity is actually not terribly large just yet. We have a small community of dedicated gamers spread out over a great number of video game titles over many gaming platforms both online and off. As we build this community we will have more and more friends to play with, unfortunately it is, to this point so far, a slow growing process. One other thing o keep in mind, If other people are like me,... I for one played this game to death for a while, so I've taken a small break to get in some other games. This DL content is in fact perfect timing, as I'm getting the itch to get back to one of my favorite games anyway! I'll be online with SC:PT in the coming days for sure, keep an eye out for me Cyberwoo.
Covak
You know I'll be on a lot Am I the only one here that felt that the Multi-player portion of this game was lacking in content and that a premium DL right off the bat is asking a bit much? Well, you're not the only one who thinks premium DLC right of the bat is a bit much :? I think it's kind of crazy that I'll be giving them $5 more while there are still a few nasty bugs/glitches that need fixing. I'm hoping there's an auto-update to go along with the new maps. [edit] Are these the maps that are released with the PS2/GC versions so they can have the claim of exclusive content on the disc? The GC version has no multiplayer so if it has an exclusive content this isn't it.
Orpheus
I believe that the gamecube and ps2 exclusives are single player missions... Needless to say, I will be purchasing this. Looking forwrad to breaking some necks in new levels.
Calvin
I also will get the maps. $5.00 for both isn't too bad...

I don't think Ubisoft has said anything about additional single-player missions at this point Honestly, with them working on Splinter Cell 3 already for an end-of-year release on the PC, I would be very surprised if we got any more single-player missions for this game. I think we're more likely to see additional multi-player maps. You never know though. They did release two new levels for the first game shortly before the release of Pandora Tomorrow. Maybe they'll pull the same trick again.
Cyberwoo
I have ZERO interest in any single player maps for SC:PT. Thief 3 "ownz" SC in the stealthy single player gameplay department IMHO. Focus on multiplayer and SC 3 please.
JTello
-Ok, so I missed something,... when are these available? I checked this evening and they weren't available yet :? ,.... and I can't seem to locate a specific date?

bickle
I have zero interest in paying for additional levels. But I'm very interested to find out if it's a true download or another case where most or all of it is already on the disc & either needs some extra assets or to be unlocked. I thought it was fairly clear from the IGN article that the maps were built from the ground up and are in fact new. Considering they each wiegh in at 1100 blocks of memory its apparent that this is not a case of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein".
adamsappel
Are the Mall and the Bank maps the same ones used in the new exclusive single-player missions for the PS2 and GC, only now available as multi-player for the Xbox?

No I do not believe so. Taken from Gameposts PS2 preview: The PS2 version will add one new mission set in a jungle to the story mode, and existing missions will also have new alternate pathways. http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/pandora..._6099121-2.html No word yet on what the GC version will include.
