I had to vote for Batman - most of the things the character has been in have been good, & they far outweigh the bad of the last 2 films.

Though I do love The Flash TV series & the X-Men stuff.

Not to mention The Tick! (I would love to get the animated stuff on dvd!)

I voted Someone else.

Its really hard to pick a favorite, though of the list above it would be Bats (mind you, I was horribly, horribly addicted to Smallville this season).

But my favorite would probably be either Dr. Manhattan, for his portrayal of a 'superhero' more emotionally alien than most of the guys from other planets, or perhaps 'V', for pushing the psychosis of vigilantism without needing to go down the Punisher's one-dimentional "they're only bad guys, so who cares" route. V's enemies really are very Bad People indeed, but Moore doesn't let you ignore the fact they are still people.

Honestly, though - I do read other people's comics occasionally ;)

Same here, but I missed the season finale ( :( damn Las Vegas), can you gimmie a quick recap of what happened.

Voted for X-men here, although The Flash is probably my fav all time superhero. I just think how the xmen were put onto the screen has been awesome.

Well, if you don't want to get it in an underhand manner or wait for a re-run, here is some heavy-on-the-spoiler summary:

<!--QuoteBegin-"spoiler"

The A-plot was someone who claimed to be from Krypton wandering around with her superpowers in the nude and generally doing her best T-3 impression. Turns out she was sent by Dur-El to take Kal for a walk through the cave wall to some magic place where everybody will accept him for who he 'really' is.

Meanwhile, Lionel in Jail tells Clark about the secret room with all Lex's Clark research in it, causing Clark to go off the deep end and tell Lex he's not going to be friends any more. Lana's off to France, and Clark is so busy dealing with the A-plot that he forgets to take her to the airport and so just runs there in time to see Lex giving her a heartfelt goodbye.

Girl turns out to be some random that Dur-El has exploited and brainwashed in order to get Clark to step in the spaceship and bugger off. Jonathan finds out and tries to stop Clark, so Dur-El kills random, and threatens to kill Jonathan too if Clark doesn't get in.

Final montage, to Verdi's Requiem, in a big Godfather stylee:

Lionel gets his head shaved, as all his pieces fall into place -

Jonathan lies on the floor nearly dead from strangulation

Chloe and dad taken to an FBI safe house

Lex collapses from a poisoned whiskey

Chloe looks worried outside the door of safe house as dad walks in

Martha stares out window at something

Safe house (and Chloe? I really fucking hope not) go boom

Reveal to show a bloody great flaming sign in the field outside the Kent house

Clark flying through space in something that looks rather like the thing from the beginning of Superman 2

So yeah, you missed a hell of a lot.

Since we're talking film and tv, I had to go with the X.

Adam West, yep. Paul Dini Batman, yep.

But the X-Men, damn cool. And as Romier pointed out, Magneto is the shit. And Iceman has his moments.

In comics though, Flash all the way. :tu:

As far as TV/Films go, X-Men wins hands down, and that is who I voted for. The two films are everything I have wanted out of Super-Hero films. If Spidey 2 is half as good as the trailers, well, I think we will have a new sheriff in town. ;)

Now my favorite Super-Heroes are Batman and Spider-Man....in that order.
