exile
I may buy one right now I may not. I'm jonesing for a new game and since funds are pretty tight right now considering I spent 7 or 8k on my HT, I'm not exactly in an area of compromise with my wife The 2 games I've considered right now are: FSW: Not sure if I'll like this yet. I'll TRY to find a rental copy but its hard to find games for rent around here it seems. I get extremely frustrated with Rainbow Six 3 but this is mainly due to my style of play. I'm more of a gung ho guns a blazing type guy. Color me not patient. Fable: This seems like my style but I don't know yet about this one. Anything else coming out I should make note of? I looked at the release list for June and not seeing anything worthwhile(to me). I played Riddick some and was bored easily with it. Psy Ops wasn't too impressive either. While I could hold out for Halo 2, I don't really want to. I may just take the extra $$ I got and get some more dvds.. Any suggestions on what to look out for in July other than Fable? In the meanwhile I'll try to locate a copy of FSW for rent and try it out.

Fable has a release date of 9/13 at the present time. As far as games available now, since Riddick and FSW aren't appealing at the moment, Thief 3 might be a good choice if you're a fan of the others, or stealth games in general. Then FSW is almost certainly not for you - it's not a gun blazing kind of game.
Josh
Exile: Give us an idea of your tastes (games you've loved, etc.). There's probably an older game (or two!) you can get for $19 that would fit the bill.
General Zot
If you don't have much patience and like the rambo style of play, do not get FSW. You will hate it. I second the notion of picking up an older game for $20, how does Freedom Fighters grab you? That's something like FSW, but much more quickly paced (and a good game from what I've heard.) exile
Odd, every place locally had it listed as 7/13 release date.. I guess they are completely wrong then. Exile: Give us an idea of your tastes (games you've loved, etc.). There's probably an older game (or two!) you can get for $19 that would fit the bill. Sports and action titles are my favorites right now but I don't want another sports game for a while. I'll do some research on Freedom Fighters. dogbert
Freedom Fighters is a LOT of fun - it's a good mix of all guns blazing yet having a team to back you up. Good storyline, good action, good mix of level design. I really enjoyed it. Should be fairly cheap too.
