Probably my best day ever!

Recommended Posts

Well, I think the picture will say it all.

My wife hadn't been feeling well, so we had to go in to make sure everything was still ok. We found out about 5 or 6 weeks ago that we were pregnant for the first time after trying for 5 years. So, we have been nervous about any little thing going wrong. Turns out, everything with "Lil' Bit" is just fine. Heart Rate of 171, and going strong after just about 12 weeks. I just about lost it when I heard the heart beat for the first time. That baby is going to have me wrapped around it's finger.

Also, we got an offer on our house today of exactly what we were asking for. Now we just have to break ground on our new house and we'll be all set.

Like I said, probably my best day ever.

-ahhh, so that's not a black and white picture of Mick Jagger's open mouth with the word baby tatooed on the bottom lip!

;)

-Congratulations Glen! We may need to created a big personal announcements thread, it's seems like there are a lot of great events going on lately with many LCVG members. So, if it's a boy are you gonna call him Baby Mario! :D

That is fantastic news on both fronts! There is nothing like the blessing of a child in your life, and I will pray (yes I said it) that everything goes well with your wife's pregnancy.

As far as your house goes, my wife and I were paying two mortgages until a month or two ago; One on the house we live in and the one we moved from. The financial burden was nearly unbearable, and I have the credit card bill to prove it ;)

While your situation is a different one, the burden that has been lifted and the door that has been opened for your future with the offer is the similar. I wish you a quick closing with a pre-approved buyer :tu:

And, I hope you take your wife out for a nice dinner to celebrate all the good news :)

Way cool, Glen! Congratulations!

Did your wife eat some alphabet soup immediately before her ultrasound? I can clearly see the word "baby" formed in her tummy? :)

Seriously, that's a great picture. Spoil your wife as best you can during the remaining 6 months.

Carlos.

Sleep? I'm having a hard time remembering that. :)

With all of the things going on regarding the building of the house, and making sure that my wife is as relaxed as she can be, and getting in time for CoH, Glen doesn't get a lot of sleep.

It's all worth it though.

I don't think my wife ate alphabet soup, I just think that the baby is already so smart that it's spelling for the crowd.

My wife will be happy to know that Mario and Bat Bat aren't in the name hat at this point. We've already got names picked out if it's a boy or a girl. We'd been going through Fertility stuff for about 6 months and decided we needed to stop for a while to get the house built. Wouldn't you know it, we got pregnant right after stopping the treatments.

Thanks for the congratulations everyone. I'll keep giving out the details if people are interested.
