Guest Bryan
I found a new Nintendo Memory Card 1019 at Wal-Mart today for $15.00 It was marked with a red tag at $20 but rang up $5 cheaper.
Mark E
I was surprised Glen, I was expecting the Mega Man compilation. I should have known better .
The Daisy
Ok I have to hit Walmart for one of those tomorrow if mine are at that price. I need one of those. I'm tired of having to have 4 cards. To be honest, Mark, I've never really played the Mega Man games. The last one I can even remember playing is Mega Man 1, but I'm not sure I'm going to pick these ones up just yet. I've just got so much to play this year...... Mark E
I've never really played the Mega Man games. Oh my god. :wtf: Glen, please, try these. :green: Skip the first game, go to MegaMan 2 and 3. They are classic, classic 8-bit titles. :tu:

I'm sorry, but there is no conceivable reason that someone who posts in the Nintendo forum as often as you to have never played a single Mega Man title. Now, I suppose I could be a nice guy like Mark and say, "Well, if you beat Mega Man II or III, that's good enough, but I'm an asshole, see. As such, I'm going to make you beat the first one before you can be a part of our Nintendo club once again. Nice knowing you, Glen, and good luck with the Rock Monster. The Daisy
Alright... I'll get the collection this week... although I'm not so sure about beating Mega Man 1. From what I've heard... it's more that a bit challenging. Glen

Clay
I just picked up a copy of Gladius for Gamecube at Costco for 12.89. If anyone else has been looking for this game at a really good price, might not hurt to check out your local Costco. Clay

Mark E
EA's June Newsletter just went out and that means $15 off something. Wouldn't normally mention it, but SSX3 is now at $19.95 in the EA Store (for GC at least) so you can get it for $10 US shipped with a code. secretvampire
Actually just FYI, the SSX3 deal is good for all three consoles! Fantastic game if you don't already have it.
weremichael
Too bad Best Buy is now pricing Metal Arms for $19.99. The search continues for the mythical $5 copy of this fun/frustrating game. Michael
ChoiceStriker
I asked this over in Beer Monkey's Mario Golf thread in the FS/FT forum, but I thought I might get more of a response here. Can someone explain the whole Best Buy Gamer Gift Card / Coupon thing to me? I've heard it mentioned here several times but I don't have any idea what it is.
adamsappel
Available at most (but apparently not all) Best Buys, the Gamer's Gift Card comes in a CD jewel case and has a green or black label, on the back of which is a coupon for $5 off any videogame or accessory that is priced $19.99 and up. The card works like any credit card-ish gift certificate. I usually grab one and go through checkout, putting $15 on it. I tear out the coupon and then purchase a game. If I try and do the card, game and coupon in the same transaction the clerk tends to get confused. The green-labeled cards had a Dec. 2003 expiration date, but if they're rejected I point out that I just purchased it.

Michael It looks like $19.99 for the GC version, and $4.99 for the Xbox (teh bias!!1) - but as Allen said, the Xbox version is sold out, at least right now. ChoiceStriker
Thanks for the explanation, Allen. I think I'll try that on Mario Golf tonight.
The Daisy
I'm typically picking these up the week before a game comes out now, getting the gift card to be the exact amount of the game minus the coupon. It's a pretty nice system to save yourself $5 bucks on a brand new game. There will be some cashiers that will let you buy the card, and then use it on a game right away... but other cashiers are a pain in the butt on that. YMMV. ChoiceStriker
Glen: That's a good idea. I can't see why they would have a problem with it - it's not like you're actually cheating them out of anything. It's probably just that they're embarrassed about being confused by why anybody would want to do it. So if I want to use one on Mario Golf for $24.99, you suggest putting $19.99 (or $20) on the card? adamsappel
It's also difficult for them to apply more than one GGC per transaction. If you are buying more than one game and using more than one coupon, have them ring up each game+coupon separately.
