JoeyN
With SG-1's 2 hour season premiere this week and the Atlantis 2 hour Series Premiere next week its a good time to be a fan of Stargate. I really want to see the direction they go with both shows. If any scifi show had great possibilities its this one capt
LupinLives
I will be there. I missed out the first few seasons of Stargate and am excited to watch a new series from the beginning.

Cathartic
BIG Stargate fan here. I plan to be going to the convention in NJ on August 7/8. I'm a bit miffed that I can't seem to catch up with the series though. I'd love to start watching the new season, but while I've seen everything up through the end of season 6, I didn't see all of season 7 - and it's not coming out on DVD in time for me to catch up. I hate watching episodes out of sequence, so it's particularly frustrating to me. We're having dinner this Friday. I'll let him know he has a fan. You can let him know he has two! Man, I'd love to have the opportunity to write a Stargate episode. How did he manage to become involved with the show, if you don't mind my asking? I'll ask him for the full history on Friday.
JoeyN
For you fans out there SG-1 and Atlantis have been renewed for new seasons which will air during the summer. The end of the current seasons starts again in Jan along with the premiere of Battlestar Galactica(which if you have seen it from the overseas broadcasts is another great new scifi show) capt

DataTox
Joey: Any word when SG-1 and Atlantis resume for the remainder of the current season? I've only watched SG-1 sporadically over the years, but really enjoyed what I did see. Also, I very much enjoyed Atlantis and am looking forward to the rest of the season. JoeyN
Ressurecting this thread as there was some big Sg-1 casting news today. Morena Baccarin who played Inarra on Firefly and the film of serenity has been cast in a important main recurring charector for S10. Gateworld.net has the news
Jon W H
I was a huge Stargate fan, but the last season has really made me a little sour on the show. Richard Dean Anderson made the show, to me. Ben Browder's a cool guy and all, but the chemistry is not the same. I reluctantly accepted his promotion to General, but seeing that he is pretty much not on the show at all anymore has taken all the fun out of it for me. I miss the subtle sarcasm RDA brought to the show.
JoeyN
I actually think RDA leaving was a good thing. The start of the season was a little off but towards the end it got good. As for RDA. Hes back for 5 episodes this upcoming season. 2 for SG-1 and 3 for Atlantis

JoeyN
yeah he was great in everything he did. It's kind of fitting that he came back to do the next Direct to video stargate movie, as he only did cameo's the last few seasons
Jordan_E
His credits are amazing. Too bad one of this final roles is in Uwe's Far Cry. But the guy worked, that's for sure!
