Guest Bryan
I am interested to see who will be purchasing Madden 2005 and which system you will be playing it on. I have purchased Sega ESPN football in past years and have never played a Madden game. ESPN's budget pricing this year has me thinking of purchasing Madden out of curiosity. I bet the people deciding the ESPN pricing structure (as well as EA) didn't see that one coming! I like the Madden 2005 CE for PS2. It has some great extras including three prior versions of the game (1993 Genesis version, 1998 PS1 and 2001 PS1). I'm thinking that I might as well look at the PS2 version because it will be a big enough change to be playing a new game and control scheme; what does it matter that I'm trying it on a different console? Another thought is to get the Xbox version for the Live component and the fact that my 'Box is running on component inputs and the PS2 isn't. What say you?? Say it fast because GameStop is running free overnight shipping on Madden today!
Bruce B
ESPN's budget pricing this year has me thinking of purchasing Madden out of curiosity Interesting and befuddling all at the same time. I plan on buying ESPN. Last years version was as close to perfection in a videogame as you can get. I played the demo of Madden last year, and although it was good, it was no ESPN. I think the only way I would pick up Madden is if ESPN didnt fix the cheating loopholes in the previous years game(i.e using the punter to kickoff and getting the ball back everytime)

Would it be a thread-jack if I ask whether any other ESPN fans might pick up Madden as a result of this price structure? -j
Chris F
I'm buying both ESPN and Madden on XBox this year. PLUS I'm buying the collectors edition Madden on PS2, for the old school Madden games included on that.
LupinLives
I am going to skip Madden and use the extra money to get RS:3 BA or pre-pay for fable. Between ESPN Online Leagues, Fantasy Football and watching DirectTV NFL Ticket I think I will have my fair share of football. LOL
Guest Bryan
I will be playing ESPN next week - just looking at Madden, too.
The Daisy
Just NFL2K5 for me. Madden has just never had the right feel for me. Glen
JoeyN
Probably will pick up both. ESPN being only $19.99 helped with that decision capt
