Mark E
Short but interesting article up at GameSpot regarding the use of voice talent in video games and just how much they make for a record session, etc. VA article Also, for those of you who miss the good old "master of unlocking" lines, treat yourself to some of the worst video game lines ever recorded over at... Audio Atrocities The site is all about the most dismal recordings in the history of gaming. All your favorites from Resident Evil to Sympony of the Night are featured. As long as they're in the top 20 anyway .
ChoiceStriker
Hehe, I enjoyed Audio Atrocities. Too bad it's missing some true classics, like "Don't shoot food!" Good thing you can still get it here.
Big Daddy Bling Bling
I was pretty impressed with the site as well. My all-time favorite is in the top 5. Nothing beats Dr. Light from Mega Man 8 IMO. It sounds like they hired Elmer Fudd to do his voice.

Neat site! Hope they get many more submissions.
blackcalx
I'll have to check this one out when I get home. I'm always fascinated by voice acting. Occasionally I will resurrect my desire to become involved in the art and would jump at the chance to do so. This won't help any, I'm sure. AnthonyVolpe
Kirsten Dunst probably got paid $100,000 for Spider-Man 2's VO work and her performance was considered the worst phoned-in loads of crap in videogame history. Meanwhile I was able to afford one of the top anime-voiceover actresses in the country to do voiceovers on one of my videogames!!! Huh??? The even sadder part is that most of these VO people don't do this as a living and are forced to have a real job as their primary source of income. Having established Hollywood actors and dufuses ike Dennis Rodman putting them out of work doesn't help. Just a word of advice for anyone looking to break in! I'd love to hear more to this story, Anthony! Who was the actress? What was the videogame you were working on?
