Mark E
Glen, just look at that, Best Buy WANTS you to buy their Tales of Symphonia! :green:
The Daisy
Mark, they also want me to buy Legend of Zelda.... but I don't have anyone who would play it with me. I have $10 in Reward Zone coupons to use up at Best Buy and Tales was the game I was going to pick up. I'll swing by there tomorrow and see if they have it in stock. Then I'll bug EB and see if they have NFL 2K5 yet.... Glen
Scarface7
Definetly looking forward to picking up NFL2K5 this week. Of course I'll be getting it at BestBuy so I can use the GGC. $20 - $5 = $15 = great time to be a gamer
Mark E
Zelda's a fun little distraction in single player, but yeah, I would definitely wait for a price drop in that instance. We've been having a blast doing three player, not to rub it in . Tales is great though, it keeps getting better. Shockingly mature in parts, actually. Not to rub it in, I've been having a blast playing it with four people. :green: I actually played a little bit of it in single player not too long ago. I played through a level I had already beaten just to see what it was like. I was actually surprised by how fun it was. Granted, the full deal requires four people and four GBAs, but it was still a good time nonetheless. Zelda fans need not hesitate to pick it up if they don't have any friends to play it with. Also, those of you sitting on the fence ought to pick up Mario Vs. Donkey Kong at Circuit City while it's on sale. As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the best portable games on the market right now, and in my top three of 2004 so far behind Four Swords Adventures and Ninja Gaiden. Utterly brilliant level design.
greenhorn1
I know you can get it online for $30 but does anyone know of any retail stores where I could pick up Painkiller for PC for $30 or less this week?
PoisonJam
According to the Best Buy website, Prince of Persia is $19.99 for the Xbox as well. Looks like a lunchtime trip is in order. :tu:
blackcalx
Since I got in so late in last week's thread and since the deal is still active: GoGamer.com has Battlefield Vietnam for $19.90 and Freedom Force for $5.90.
The Daisy
Prince of Persia is $19.99 for the Xbox as well. That's the new price for it. It dropped last week to $19.99 across the board. Glen
Romier S
Bit of a deal on EBgames.com. Psi-ops on both the Xbox and the PS2 for 29.99: Psi-Ops Xbox 29.99 Psi-Ops PS2 29.99 Game is well worth that reduced price.
matt
I saw NCAA 2005 for $37.99 at Fry's today. All systems. I'm holding out for ESPN myself. Edit: fixed my crappy grammer
exile
Matt, I am too but I'm confused by your statement. Are you trying to say that an ESPN NCAA game is coming? I don't know that they have one planned or just avoided it all together. Their announcers are doing NCAA 2005 already..
The Daisy
Ebgames.com has Sphinx for all platforms for $12.99 Glen
blackcalx
GoGamer.com has some nice prices on older PC games: Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel - $6.90 StarCraft Battle Chest - $13.90 Half-Life Platinum Collection 2 - $15.
matt
Exile, I just meant that while I was at fry's looking at air conditioners (it's been damn hot out here in CA lately) I managed to find myself in the video game section and while I was there, EA sports NCAA 2005 was on sale at a great price. I'm not a big college football fan, so I decided to wait and buy ESPN 2K5 this week. Didn't mean to imply anything about a ESPN NCAA game, as I don't know of one. Anyway, ESPN is great so far, but I need lots o' practice....
