Failsafe
Amazing news! Thanks for the heads up Chris! As some of you may remember from this thread, I'm keeping my Episode III knowledge to an absolute minimum. Revenge of the Sith. Cool! JoeyN
No big surprise in that name really. its been around for a few months. Glad they finally announced it The thing i find very nice is the official announcement of releases for the Droid/Ewok Cartoons, Ewok tv movies, and the clone wars animated series. I shall have them all capt

Failsafe
Thankfully George went with the 'safe' title. The obvious contrast to Return of the Jedi.
Angry the Clown
The story that the Lucasfilm panel said 'Revenge of the Sith' t-shirts would be available in the main hall after their presentation, which then sent thousands of rabid fans charging out of the auditorium, made me chuckle.Stands to reason a lot of those fans there at Comic Con didn't like Phantom Menace, and some probably even disliked Clones, but time after time they will still flock to the new waves of merchandise no matter what. The t-shirt is pretty neat though. foogledricks
Is the "Sith" Anakin, and is his revenge, the act of killing al the jedi? Or, is the "Sith" Duku, the emperor, or an unamed new bad guy?

I'd probably guess it refers to the Sith in general, since there ends up being two of them (at least by the time the original trilogy starts). Failsafe
A news bit on MSN.ca had this interesting quote: For the uninitiated, the evil Sith are sworn enemies of the Jedi, the saber-wielding knights whose numbers include Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker. :? Darth Vader? A Jedi? Must be a deleted scene that shows him fighting the Sith along side Luke and Obi-Wan. It's funny that this sentence is specifically for those who don't understand what a 'Sith' is, and it has incorrect information. Talk about a confusing statement.

JoeyN
For those intrested. TheForce.net has up a description of the first Episode 3 trailer. I can not wait to see this one capt
Failsafe
*sigh* Contrary to my previous stance, I am going to watch the trailers. Without any previous knowledge, I doubt I'll be receiving any damaging info (this ain't Robert Zemekis we're dealing with!). As someone mentioned in my other Star Wars thread, it seems pointless to deny myself the satisfaction of seeing the trailers - they really do get you in the mood! I'm not going to visit the link, Joey, but do they have a date for the teaser? That's all I want to know right now.
boogieman
Yea that site is blocked for me right now. Do they have a date? Anyone care to post the description or at least copy and past to a pm for me?
Failsafe
It has been revealed that the teaser for Revenge of the Sith will be attached to prints of The Incredibles! Less than two weeks away!

JFo
Jeremy; Where did you hear that? I looked over at TheForce.Net, but couldn't find any info on it there. Putting the trailer in front of The Incredibles wouldn't surprise me though, given the fact that the first trailer for Attack of the Clones ran in front of Monsters Inc. Of course, it's not like I would need any additional motivation to go see the first collaboration between Pixar and the mighty Brad Bird. Something tells me I'm going to completely geek out when I go to the theater that weekend, and I can't wait! :green:
LimeyYankee
My wife wanted to take the kids to go and see Shark Tale, but with other motives at hand, I said calmly, "We should wait and take the kids to see The Incredibles" hoping they would have the Ep. 3 trailer attached just like with Monsters, Inc. Looks like my plan is going as expected :green: Matt

EnemaEms
The Phantom Menace trailer was also attached to "A Bug's Life." Funny how Star Wars trailer time always happens around new Pixar release time. -Dean-

I thought it was attached to Meet Joe Black, a film no one wanted to see, but went to anyway just to see the trailer. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember.
