The Daisy
Yeah, very interesting. Is this over the last year? I'm just curious about not seeing Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime, etc. Glen
Romier S
I'm just curious about not seeing Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Metroid Prime, etc. These are for the most recent titles to be added to the Players Choice line or just recently released in general. Which is why you don't see those games listed.
The Daisy
The Sonic Adventure thing blows me away. I had no idea that that game was so popular. Also, Animal Crossing selling 1.3 million copies worldwide is very impressive. It's not really a "mainstream" type of games. Glen

Same here. Those numbers are impressive for any game, let alone a compliation disc of 10-year-old games. It makes me wonder what kind of sales we'll see for the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. It's also nice to see Four Swords Adventures do well, considering its status as a sort of niche game. I also find it interesting how many of the games on that list have sold more copies here in the States than in Japan. For the sake of comparison, how may Game Cubes are their in the US versus Japan? Romier, do you have those numbers handy?
The Daisy
Actually, that's the Sonic Mega Collection that you're thinking of. This is just the copy of Sonic Adventure 2 that was previously out on the Dreamcast. I bet that we will see pretty decent numbers for the Mega Man Collection for both the PS2 and GC over time. Those are titles that will just get good steady sales for months and months. Glen
Mark E
What's really interesting there is that the Mega Collection sold really well here, yet in Japan it had more unlockable games on it, such as Comix Zone. Kirby's Air Ride outselling F-Zero is rather appalling too . From all reports it was not that hot a game. And Twin Snakes didn't exactly set the charts on fire, I hope that means it'll hit Player's Choice soon :green:
