Mark E
IGN has an article up. There will be a brand spanking new 2D Super Mario adventure premiering for the Nintendo DS. It'll be 3D objects in a 2D environment. Pictures look good. There's a movie up but I couldn't get it to download. C'est la vie . Camp
This is one of the most exciting things I saw on the DS from the E3 coverage. It looks phenomenal.
JFo
I saw some footage of this on G4-TechTV a few weeks ago during some coverage of E3. Do I need to say that I'm excited about playing this, because if I do, you guys haven't been paying attention to anything I've been saying lately. Honestly, I'm beginning to think that a DS purchase is more and more likely for me in the future. Nintendo is certainly giving me plenty of reasons to get one. Those reasons include a new The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords game, Viewtiful Joe, and now this new 2D Mario game.
blackcalx
Playing through the single player portions of Super Smash Bros.: Melee made me wonder if Nintendo would ever release a full game based off of 3D objects in a 2D side scrolling scenario. This is exciting.
EnemaEms
I waited a while to get my GBA, but I think I'll be picking up the DS on release day. Mario 64 update, Zelda, Metroid, and a 2D Mario game....I'm all over this. -Dean-

Who... who are you, anyway? About the game, I'm all over it too. I'm very much fixed on picking up EITHER a DS or a PSP and I'm leaning towards the DS so far. Can only afford one.
