GreenMonkey
Hot Topic has a lot of 8-bit and older oldschool gaming T-shirts. I've got the one with the NES controller that says "Know your roots": http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&ITEM=208746 Other 8-bit shirts: http://www.hottopic.com/store/nodePage.asp?LS=0&RN=344 I also have the free T-shirt that came with the Megaman Anniversary Collection. The anime store Wizzywigs has a Zelda one that has the bow, potion, sword, etc on it from Zelda 1, and it says "Don't make me go Zelda on your ass" or something like that. blackcalx
I was given the "Know Your Roots" shirt as a Christmas gift but after one wash it shrunk so much that I had to give it to my wife's little brother. It needed an Atari 2600 stick anyway.
AnthonyVolpe
I own the slate grey Bullet Bill "Enemy" shirt, the green 1UP shirt, and a MegaMan ringer shirt. Yes, I'm 33 and I still shop at Hot Topic. I'm making up for all the years since college that I had to deal with corporate dress codes. iainl
Personally, my fave T at that site was This Statler and Waldorf one, but as far as games stuff goes, you can't do better than the Call Mario Bros. Plumbing T as seen on Miyamoto himself...

Big Daddy Bling Bling
I prefer the Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy shirt with its printed on bandages that make me look like a real live mummy when I wear it.

Do you scare little kids when you wear it? Cause I'd buy one of those if it scared little kids when I wore it.

heavy liquid
Scott Evans, one of the more notorious arcade collectors (he's the guy who owns 3 Marble Madness 2 machines and won't release the roms) bought out tons of old Atari Games artwork and memorabilia last year. Included in the haul were many original "films" used to print promotional Atari T-Shirts in the early 80s. Using them, he made modern reproductions of the classic shirts in the exact original designs of the original 80's shirts. So far the shirts available are Dig Dug, Centipede, Missile Command, I Robot, Tempest, Defender, Night Driver, original Atari logo, and 720 (which is currently sold out). I've got all the shirts available so far, and the quality is awesome. He's only made a handful of each shirt so far, but he has many more films that can be used to produce others if there's a demand for them. I emailed him last week, and he said that there are in fact more are on the way: Robotron will be done in about a week, Gauntlet is done now. He'll also have more 720 shirts, Qbert, Frogger and Ms. Pac Man... You can purchase them here: http://www.safestuff.com/atarishirts.htm Check out his setup and stuff from the Atari haul here: http://www.safestuff.com/

iainl
Oh dear LORD they are nice, particularly the I, Robot and the Centipede ones. They've even got my size (large) on special offer. Thank goodness they don't ship to the UK, or I'd have to place an order.
Orpheus
International buyers should email me for shipping prices Dunno, sounds like they do unless you emailed him already. Resistance is futile! Buy buy buy!!!
CaptainRon
so pissed the "nintendo rehabilitation" shirt is out of my size. I'm gonna get the "this girl is in control" shirt for my girlfriend and maybe a little mario brothers plumbing for myself. I can't resist 80's gaming related t-shirts, i'm powerless

I was really impressed with the first wave of shirts, but not too attached to any of those games, so I didn't order any. But Ms. Pac Man is probably my favorite game of all time, so I'm just dying to see (and order) any of those shirts that this guy may be doing. . . Any idea what's going on with this site? I remember seeing a blurb on it (when it was up before) that they're getting ready to open up a more traditional online store. . .
