Calvin
This looks pretty cool! This is the 2nd guy that I know of who has made one. Would you buy it if you could? I might...
JFo
I don't know. $500 seems like a pretty steep price to pay for a portable PSOne, particularly with the PSP and DS set to arrive in stores soon. Still, I can't help but think that it would be one hell of a novelty item to own. I'm sure if I had one and showed it to you guys, you would probably geek out big time! :green:
Robot Monkey
That thing is huge.
Angry the Clown
That's really rather clever despite it's size, though there is no lid to protect the CD on the back? I'm not sure Sony will appreciate his selling it mind you.... Daniel
Camp
Very cool project. I'm amazed at how professional his final results were.

Yeah, I was noticing this too. Whenever I play something on my GBA SP, I usually like to rest the system at or near my belly. With this PSOne Palm, I don't think it would be possible to do that without interfering with the rotation of the disc. You would have to hold it up in the air at all times. I imagine that would get tiring after a while. How much trouble would it have been to create a flip-top lid to protect the disc itself? scobeto
It would be fun to build, although you could probably do something smaller with some type of emulator or something...
