Mark E
This looks like a sale for... The Game Leech! :green: Dammit, I swore I would be good, but if this is true and somebody can acquire a Pac-Man Vs. for $10 for me, they will be enshrined forever . Given how much PayPal I have let fly in the past two months I have numerous good people who can vouchsafe for me . Oh, and... uh... Soul Calibur II (Cube, natch) as well. And ground shipping, 'cause airmail burns, it burns! Gah, I've become a packrat!
Robot Monkey
Must get Xbox PoP!
adamsappel
As with all sales of this nature, the info is coming out piecemeal. The list is surely incomplete (and might be YMMV per store), so it doesn't hurt to ask for a game to be scanned. I'll update the list in my first post as I learn more. FLYING SE7EN
I'm taking the list to my TRU today, I'll see what they have. ZOE:2 for $10 is a great deal on a great game. J.
adamsappel
I updated the list, and picked up Deus Ex 2 and Prince of Persia. Note: a game can scan at a higher price, but will total out to the correct cost.
JoeyN
Considering Toys R us is gonna go bankrupt and will probably close, look for a bunch of other deals in the next few months capt
MrJames
Are people cleaning house with this deal like they did with Circuit City?
Romier S
If anyone can find me Sphynx, MotoGP 2 or Hunter: Redeemer I will gladly PP the money to you. Thanks, Romier S.
Mark E
Pac-Man Vs. is accounted for, huzzah!
Cyberwoo
I'll definately pickup DE:IW and POP if I come across them. Played the demos for both but never got around to playing the full games.
blackcalx
If I could get ahold of an Afterburner kit I might actually consider one of those $35.00 GBAs.
Camp
Considering Toys R us is gonna go bankrupt and will probably close, look for a bunch of other deals in the next few months That's not even close to happening.
adamsappel
Updated the list again. I'm not sure, but Castlevania:Aria of Sorrow (GBA) might be discounted also. It scanned as "PROMO," but the clerk didn't total the sale. The sale doesn't just apply to videogames. Other toys are discounted, but we'll probably only learn of those price drops when the sale officially starts.
FLYING SE7EN
Stuff was ringing up at the register at the full price for me. I didn't try for a total though. I might try tomorrow. My TRU had next to nothing on the original list. Totally sold out of POP and Ratchet and Clank:GC. I'll print another list and go back and have them ring up and total a few games to see if it works. The guy at the counter knew about the 50% off sale, just not when it started. J.
adamsappel
The price will ONLY be discounted when the clerk totals the sale. And the sale is active right now, it just hasn't been advertised yet.
secretvampire
Good golly, Miss Molly!!! I found a sealed copy of Tales of Destiny II for PSX. Considering they sell for $80-100 sealed on Ebay, it would have been a great deal for the stickered price of $20. HOWEVER, it was included in the 50% off sale, so I got it for $10!!! Needless to say, I gotta say it was a good day.
The Daisy
Wish I would have known about the pricing only being complete when they total it. Oh, well. I'll hit the other TRU in town tomorrow. Glen
adamsappel
I updated the list. It was getting pretty long, so I took out the last-gen games. If your TRU still carries them, assume they're 50% off. Check out the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox bundle prices!
MrJames
Just got back with MSG2 for $7.49, Deus Ex 2 for $9.97. I also got Devil May Cry but it rang up for $20. The cashier noted it's not a part of the sale. Might want to remove it from the list.
Scarface7
Picked up 2 copies each of Silent Hill 3 and Prince of Persia. One copy each is for myself. If you are interested in the other please send me a pm and we'll work something out. My TRU also had like 4 copies of Wild Arms 3 if anyone is interested. The tag said $30 so it'd be $15 after the %50 discount.
Mark E
Dang, really too bad that PoP isn't $10 on all platforms.
The Daisy
DDRMAX 2 and Tenchu for the Xbox aren't part of the deal either. Both ring up at regular price. I picked up Deus Ex, Sphins, PoP, and The Sims. Not sure if I'm going to keep Deus Ex and the Sims though. Glen
JFo
I went looking for XIII and P.N. 03. I found both, but there rang up at their regular prices of $19.99. Oh well...
FLYING SE7EN
I finally get in on a sale. I picked up: Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (XBOX) Otogi (XBOX) Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (XBOX) Silent Hill 3 (PS2) Thanks for the heads up Allen! J.
