Cyberwoo
Is it just me or is the lag in BA worse than in RS3? I just find that in general I'm not getting the good pings I used to get in RS3 on the same servers. I get some pretty inconsistant hit detection at times and I noticed that there are those anoying lag "glitches" much more than in RS3. I'm thinking it must be the new maps. Anyone else noticing this or am I just loopy? Also the game doesn't feel very polished. Certainly they wouldn't rush the game out to make more $ now would they? Dont get me wrong I'm having fun when I find a good server running Extraction and Total Conquest modes but good servers are HARD to find when your hoping to find a good 12 or 16 player room. Cyberwoo
BTW I found this over at ign.com regarding spawn camping. Nice to know Ubisoft is working on fixing the problem. Lets hope they do it right. http://xbox.ign.com/articles/538/538785p1.html

EnemaEms
Same here. Lag has been minimal...if any. I can still host 4 player co-op with no lag. -Dean-
Failsafe
Also the game doesn't feel very polished. Certainly they wouldn't rush the game out to make more $ now would they? Haven't really noticed much in the way of lag (I've only played for a couple hours so far). It seems to be as smooth as RS3. My kills are also about on par (which is not many) with the original as well. There are some bugs that will hopefully be eliminated with upcoming patches. One particular retrieval game the other night saw someone kill an opposing player just as he was in the process of completing the 'retrieval' part for a point. The canister dissappeared for the round. Since nobody had scored a point the round was decided by kills. After that, we immediately started another round. Guess what? Still no canister! I'm confident, however, that Ubi will address most of our concerns.
FLYING SE7EN
No lag for me either, not in 6, 8 or 12 player servers. I haven't played 16 player yet. J.
adamsappel
I see occasional lag, but nothing I'd blame a round loss on. I'm pretty sure the reason we can't kill Kevin consistently is his Gamesharkin'. It's no wonder the guy plays on public servers. I did have a weird glitch last night where I was killed just as I was finishing activating a satellite and it wouldn't allow me to respawn. I could see all the action around me, but I couldn't move. DataTox
I haven't had any lag, at least no more than with RS3. I have run in to the Retrievel glitch though described above with the missing canister. Can be very irritating. As far as spawn camping, I was in a room the other night (public) where we were playing Retrievel on the Ferry Boat map. Basically, two of the other team's members just hung out right outside our spawn and killed us as we spawned and went through the door. Unfortunately, the way the map is designed, there are only 2 doors out of which you can leave your spawn and they had them both covered. Most of the time, they would shoot us so quickly, we couldn't even get a grenade thrown or anything. Needless to say, this was not a room in which I remained for long. Baiter
No issues with lag, but it seems you die quicker/easier, so any problems with lag are amplified. Before you'd both put a hurting on each other, now you just drop dead and end up screaming how the **** did I not kill him.
Cyberwoo
Hmm I think part of the problem is I wind up playing on east coast servers but I'm out here on the west coast. Unfortunately most of my friends list is from the east. I know alot of LCVG peeps are as well. What Baiter says makes alot of sense. Last night when playing with some LCVG guys I was notcing I would drop really quick sometimes before I had the chance to pull the trigger. It became obvious that even though on my end we saw eachother at the same time that on the other persons end they had to have seen me quicker. It was like instant death the moment I made eye contact. This was never the case in RS3 for me. Also there were times when I should shoot and a person would drop instantly but then other times when I would dump a clip into Merlot and he wouldn't drop. To be fair he would do the same thing to me and I was still alive as well. We were lagged with eachother I guess. Was kind of funny actually.
