Romier S
For any of you Gungrave fans out there it appears the sequel is coming at a budget price of 14.99. You can read the news story here: http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/08/30/news_6106025.html I kind of enjoyed the first game but it lacked any semblanace of depth or longevity. Hopefully the sequel is an improvement. EB has update thier price as well: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/245172.asp
Sherbz
I rather enjoyed the first as a stylish but mindless shooter. For $15, I'll give the sequel a chance.
adamsappel
Loved the style, hated the slowdown. For $15, I'll gladly try the sequel. As an aside, will the next generation of consoles, and their greater processing power/RAM/whatnot, eliminate or reduce the slowdown in some of our present-gen games? Gungrave really chugged. Nope. As the power increases, so does the demand for more polys, more characters, more lights, more fx etc.

I was wondering if I put my Gungrave game in my PS3, will it still slow to a crawl when stuff blows up? Or are you saying it will slow to a crawl, but will look even better when it does? dogbert
Ah sorry, I misunderstood your question - I didn't see the "present gen games" part. Ignore what I said above, but I still doubt it'll magically solve slowdown issues. Might help but I can't see Sony or Microsoft spending much time on it. blackcalx
I wouldn't imagine that slowdown would improve in a next-gen system since in most cases the previous generations are emulated on the newer hardware. This typically means that all of the old problems are carried over with the new system.
