merlot
I'm in. I call Flyers if we are doing first come, first serve
Failsafe
I'd like the Leafs if that's the way it goes.
Chris F
I'd like the Leafs if that's the way it goes. Oh, you bastard. Ok, I'll call the B'Lo Sabres.
cane corso
I'm in. I'll take the Stars (if we do it that way). I say we keep it a small league. I don't want to exlude anyone, but if you look at the NFL leagues I think we will have trouble finishing them (especially the AFC).
Thrillho
I'm in, althought that bastard Merlot called the FLyers(like he knows what to do with them). I will take Ottawa Senators

Calvin
The only way I'd probably play is if I could get the Bruins so there you go.
LupinLives
Okay I went online and it looks like it is one game per week and you can have 8-10-12 etc weeks and between one and seven days to play games. I was thinking of 5 minute periods, six days between games and a 12 week season? What do you all think? Also how many teams do we want? We can do 8-10-12....etc...we have more than 8 so I think between 10-16 is a good amount.
Thrillho
So when theres no collective bargaining agreement reached and the season is canceled is Sega going to release a patch deleting the entire game?
merlot
If 5 minutes if the default time period, that's fine. What about line changes, are they goign to be off or on? Also, what difficulty setting? On previous games I've always played on All-Pro since it keeps scoring more realistic. Finally, when do you plan to start the league? I'd like some time to get familair with the game. I know... so many questions

I think that will keep the games more realistic. I am also a fan of All-Pro to keep games somewhat realistic. I would like to start the league towards either the middle or end of Sept. I like Cane's idea of having 16 teams (if we have enough people who want to play).
Failsafe
I'm all for line changes as long as they are automatic. I'd probably forget to change them wondering why the whole team is skating like dogs. I don't care one way or the other though.
Thrillho
I'm sorry but line changes is the biggest pain in the a$$ in video game hockey. esp with 5 minute periods, you pretty much still only wind up playing with two lines. LupinLives
If the majority don't want line changes that's cool.

The Daisy
I think we need line changes. To me, it's too arcadey when you just leave line 1 out there the entire time. Glen
JoeyN
Ill take Colorado Avs And i just want to ask Glen. WHY in the world would you take the islanders if you arent a die hard fan. if i knew it was such a high sought team, i would have called dibs :green:
merlot
I'm on the fence about line changes. On one hand, the pace is faster w/out them sicne there is no fatigue, however, some of us will take time before the game to set up our line. This is benefincal to lesser teams with no depth. On the other hand, auto line changes mean the whole team gets to play and suddenly team depth comes into play. This is good and bad depending on the team you choose to play with. I will, however, side with whatever the majority wants. With that said, count me as "don't care" for line changes.
The Daisy
WHY in the world would you take the islanders if you arent a die hard fan. I am a diehard Islanders fan. Probably the only one in the state of Wisconsin. I proudly walk around in my Islanders 3rd jersey whenever I can. Glen
Graeme
I'll take Vancouver. I'd say we have line changes on as people who don't want to deal with them can have em on auto, and those that do can have them on.
Orpheus
I'm in once I find a copy, I'll take the Wild.
