reeldeal
I use firefox. I like firefox. I don't use IE, because I hate it. so why do links from outlook or trillian open an IE window? how can i stop it from doing this thanks
Robot Monkey
Did you set FireFox as your default browser? Once I did that IE went bye-bye when I click on links in Outlook or Trillian. Or anything, for that matter. Go to Start --> Program Access and Defaults (in the second column you see before opening anything).

MrJames
You may also be interested in the IE View extension. I still have problems with Firefox on certain sites or pages so using this allows me right click a url and open it in Internet Explorer. MrJames
Right clicking anywhere on the page will give you the option to open it in IE.
Robot Monkey
That's neat; thanks for the link. Dunno when I'll have the opportunity to use it, but it'll make things painless when I do need it.
reeldeal
ya i use IEView, it's great some "more formal" pages are configured especially for IE and netscape/fire fox does funny things with them. and sometimes they won't do anything at all. EnemaEms
That link is great. Our Intranet stuff only works in IE, so that link is quite handy. -Dean-
