Angry the Clown
Our winter purchase list just got knocked up another notch as I couldn't help but notice that Lucasarts has now officially confirmed that the Xbox Version of KOTOR II is going to be ready to ship in December in the US and Canada. The PC version, and apparently the European and International Xbox release is still set for February 05 which upsets me. It'll be tempting for me to import this one, but if the sequel actually has more Live support than its predecessor, I may have to hold out for the domestic PAL disc. Boo. There's a little blurb about this news here at Eurogamer. Daniel
EnemaEms
Oh boy....there goes the neighborhood. KOTOR is my favorite RPG of all time. I don't play many of them, so my opionion is biased. I cannot wait to play the sequel. This is good news indeed. -Dean-
Orpheus
My wallet says "Screw you Lucas Arts" but I'm stoked. Absolutely loved the first game. WIll get the 2nd without hesitation. Argh. Too many good games this year.
blackcalx
I'm glad that the PC version won't be out until February. That gives me some time to ignore the other games I'll be buying in the next few months.
Angry the Clown
Lucasarts' official site confirms no European Xbox release until Feb. BAH! Oh well, It's not like I'll be short of other titles to play this winter. I shall do my upmost to avoid spoilers when you guys start talking about it. Atomic Dog
Man, I need to get off my ass (or is it that I need to get on my ass?) and finish the first one! I just got my x box and KOTOR for my birthday back in july, and have had a blast playing it so far, but free time is at a shortage lately and I still have a long ways to go to finish it. Romier S
My EB gave me a ring today to let me know the game would be in next Monday for me. The sequel doesn't seem to be generating as much buzz as the first game but I'm hoping it does well in sales. I really love Knights and the sequel seems to continue it's greatness. Now the long wait for Jade Empire.....(I'm DYING! for it to come out already.) How about Bioware come back for the third Knights game? Perhaps an Xbox Next sequel? :tu:

Andy Sheets
The sequel doesn't seem to be generating as much buzz as the first game but I'm hoping it does well in sales. Everyone's too busy playing Halo 2 and Half-Life 2 to care about anything else I think there's a lot of skepticism about Obsidian taking over from Bioware, too. You tell people that they're the same guys who made Fallout, but no one remembers Fallout. You tell them they made Planescape: Torment, but no played that in the first place. So there's some feeling out there that it's being hacked out really quick to cash in on the original. Now the long wait for Jade Empire.....(I'm DYING! for it to come out already.) Yup... dogbert
I was going to put this on my Christmas list to Santa, but I think I might end up just trading in some games & getting it this week. Can't hold out...
Mithran
Can't wait. Read a review at IGN and I guess there will be more of a story about the true intentions of the Jedi and Sith that you've never heard. I espceially like that the game will have cameo apperances by characters from the first KOTOR. I hope that you will have to use all of the characters who travel with you for maybe different planets or something. I usually used the Jedi who were with me and that's it. The only time I used Carth Onasi was to kill his son in the Sith academy on Korriban. I never did it but if you're a female character in the original, and fall in love with Carth, you can cleave him with your lightsaber on the Unkown World once you reclaim your title as Darth Revan.
Andy Sheets
No, you don't kill Carth on the unknown world. He still runs off. You don't get to confront him again until after you've killed Malak, and then you get to chop him down
Mithran
Oh ok. Like I said I never did it. Maybe after I beat the new one I'll go back and play the first and then jump into the new one again. Kind of like staying up all night and watching every Star Wars movie in order trying to piece together what's going to happen in Episode III.
