howiedo1n
I have joined a few random games and to tell you the truth it was not that great. That is what can change the whole feel of a game. What it comes down to is this... Cool Group = Cool Games - vs. - Crappy group of clowns = Crappy games. Please let me know if any of you are up to playing some MC2 online? What are the more popular game types played online any way? Is it worth trying to play online if you have not unlocked all the cars yet?
Chris F
Howie, I own it. Only played it once or twice online. I don't think many of us have it though. Id love to try it online, casue it seems cool, but not too many people are into it.
Graeme
I loved the single player portion of this game, but found online it was lacking. The loss of traffic really hurts the game IMO and makes the races rather bland. Being able to create your own courses does help somewhat though. Unless you can find a room that limits the cars to ones unlocked in a certain city, it is pointless going online as almost everyone uses the fastest cars. Fugms
Hey HowUdo1 Howie. I've been wanting to get this game for a while now, but as mentioned above I'm not sure how many people here have the game. I got rid of MMIII, I started geting bored of it. (The game NOT the people  ) I do want another online racing game besides Moto. If there's enough people here that want to play online I'll go grab it. Not to change the subject but its Sunday 24th anyone going on live tonight?
Jeff W
The Live! play is ok, nothing special. I've played a few times and usually I can tell in the first 30 seconds if I'm playing with a bunch of idiots or not and I can dump out. I seem to have more fun with the weapons code and just driving around in cruise mode machine gunning any and evrybody who crosses my path.
adamsappel
Anyone still have this one? It was the only other used Live game when I cashed in a Blockbuster gift card (I also picked up Magic:Battlegrounds and Max Payne 2). Interesting how perceptions can change in less than a year. I think the game looks like crap, compared to PGR2, NFS:U, etc. Kinda fun single-player so far, but I'd like to try it online sometime, if anyone's interested. Graeme
I've really wanted to pick it up cause I really enjoyed the racing in the single player game, but it's still a $70 game here and I've been holding out for a price drop.
iainl
I passed it up when it came out, as the PC version both looked and handled terribly on my machine, and the multiplayer demo seemed pointless. Then I bought an XBox for MM3, and the whole thing seemed rather superfluous. Now I've got PGR2, and any other racing game will sit unused... howiedo1n
Sorry I sold mine since I never saw it being use on LIVE. The one and only game I ever sold back.
Chris F
I've still got my copy, although I haven't played it much. I think I raced around the city once with Scott, and that's about it. Single player seems fun, and I be some of the game modes on XBL would be fun too. Too bad no one plays it anymore.
adamsappel
I traded this in today. The AI is so cheap it makes Carve look forgiving. Some cars will miss checkpoints and yet still be ahead in the standings, cars battling for the lead will suddenly crash themselves into me, as will random civilian cars, and there is nobody, not even asshats, online. I don't know why I expected Rockstar to deviate from the crappy driving missions that were in GTA3. I'll stick with NFS:U.
