The Daisy
Ok. I like my games, and I like my toys, but I am extremely frugal at heart. One of the things that Target is doing when you get a raincheck, is that at the bottom of the slip it states that you can get the same percentage off another item in that same category. Shirt for Shirt, DVD for DVD, etc. I had a Final Fantasy X2 raincheck from a month or so ago that was 44% off, and I was able to use it this week on Donkey Konga, taking a $50 game down to $28.00. I just wanted to make you guys aware of this. It is a YMMV deal, I've heard that some stores are tougher on it as people have gone in and asked for 10 rainchecks for a certain game and then come in and raid the shelves of all of the $50 dollar games. Starhawk
Nice find! I've heard that some stores are tougher on it as people have gone in and asked for 10 rainchecks for a certain game and then come in and raid the shelves of all of the $50 dollar games. Sounds like the same guys who like to buy $1000 worth of $5 games at the Circuit City sale! Way to ruin it for everyone else, losers! adamsappel
I do this when I see a game on temporary price reduction has sold out. I picked up R&C:GC for $12 last week.
