TK421
Am I the only Star Wars geek around here that would like to see the Jedi purge? (between 3 and 4) I always thougt it would be a good idea to show how Vader and the emporer hunt down jedi. I figured they could break it down by in to a little mini series or story arcs about each jedi until his or her demise. It could be like the fugitive on the Galactic level. MrJames
Won't we see the Jedi purge or the beginning of it with Episode 3? While I'd like to see the post episode 6 events, aren't there still rumors of a new trilogy for 7,8, and 9? If the rumor comes true then I'd like to see a KOTOR era show. A new Star Wars completely unrelated to the trilogies.

Dude...don't make me geek out on this. 8) Oh well, its already done. From what I understand theres going to be plenty of death and destruction in Epoisode III. But their will still be plenty of Jedi left to make this kind of series a possibility.
AnthonyVolpe
There's an enormous amount of material already written post Episode 6, especially in regards to Luke, Han, Leia, Mara Jade, Kyle Katarn, and numerous others. I vote that they bring Mark Hamill back as Luke and have him spearhead a new series with some new Jedi to mix things up, possibly bringing in Han, Leia and Lando for guest appearances (although Carrie Fisher seems like an absolute basketcase from what I've seen on the Star Wars DVD bonus disc - all she could talk about was her weight and she sounded like she was 70). Its moving into the realm of television capt I would like to see it take place after Jedi as well......... As much as it would be nice to see the finally three,on the big screen, I wouldn't want to unless Lucaus does them. Though I wouldn't mind if, someone who knew what they were doing like, Kevin Smith took over the reings. So on that note, in regardes to Joey's statement, I really hope Lucas does decide to take up the tv seris as his next project it will actullay make it worth watching. I like the idea of Mark Hamel being in the show as the lead. But didn't Mark say he was done with Star Wars? Come to think of it though this Seris may not work out, whos going to want to wait 3 years between seasons
JoeyN
Just a quick note. There probably wont be anything official about the show till after or close to Episode 3. We dont know who is going to run the show and so forth. One guy has thrown his name out there . Hopefully lucasfilm is listening JMS creator of B5, Jeremiah, writer for comics and other shows as well said today if he was asked he would love to work on the SW TV show. Said it would be the job of a lifetime. This comes directly from jmsnews.com. Im a fan of a lot of his work. Babylon 5, Jeremiah, Surpreme Power, Amazing Spiderman , and a few of his other books. Everything he does has huge scope and for SW you need that capt
