Carlucci
I just got this email from ESPN .... ---- You may have received an email recently in which John Madden was inappropriately portrayed. Visual Concepts, producer of ESPN Videogames, regrets this and apologizes. Such tactics are not indicative of how we normally conduct business, and we have tightened approval procedures to prevent such mistakes from happening in the future. ESPN did not approve the previous correspondence and has had a terrific personal and working relationship with John Madden. ------ Did anyone get the email in question? I may have deleted it without reading. Now I wish I knew what it was all about.

Camp
so...what's the big deal about that?
Robot Monkey
With people already claiming that Madden is old and a has-been (I'm not one!), Disney probably wondered why another Disney company is drawing attention (and exacerbating) perceived deficiencies in its marquee program, Monday Night Football. -j
EnemaEms
It's all a bunch of malarkey if you ask me. Hey...that can be the new word of the week....malarkey. -Dean-
Romier S
Hey...that can be the new word of the week....malarkey Nope, there is no need as the word of the week has been set. Therefore the word malarkey can easily be defenestrated .

Carlucci
Wow, just found out that Frank Caliendo is taking Jimmy Kimmel's spot on Fox's NFL pre-game show. This guy does a spot-on John Madden. http://www.frankcaliendo.com/high_bandwidt...multimedia.html John Madden won't be happy about that, either. Ktulu
Frank Caliendo is friggin hilarious. He does a great madden, especially when he is saying something you know madden would never say
Graeme
So did Visual Concepts create and distribute that comic?

foogledricks
Weel, after seeing that German XBOX ad (Life is short, play hard), no other ad will really have much offensive impact. What a great commercial.
