Angry the Clown
It has been announced today that Chris Rock has been chosen to host next years Oscars. This is quite a welcome surprise in my opinion as I am very fond of him and his work. He could finally breathe a much needed burst of life into the ceremony and not make it so bloody tedious to sit through (he turned down the offer to host twice before apparently). http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?t...storyID=6505255 Daniel
TK421
Wow... Chris Rock alone will make the awards worth watching. :tu:
Hank Scorpio
Very cool. That reminds me, I've still not watched his last big standup show.
Angel P
I guess I won't be watching the Oscars. :bang: I prefer the likes of Billy Crystal, Garry Shandling, Dave Letterman or Steve Martin hosting instead. Oh well.
Starhawk
Why did he turn down the offer to host twice before?
Angry the Clown
He felt he was too young so the story goes. Daniel
