Drinking and Xbox Live

Are there any people out there who (gasp! ) mix alcohol and online play?

I was thinking about how interesting it would be if we all picked an evening to simutaneously drink a six pack (or a few margaritas) right before logging on for some Midtown Madness or gunplay in GR:IT.

BTW:

I do not condone drinking and driving (unforgivable  ), or drinking under age.

I had some of my best nights of Socom ever after coming back from the bars. Heck, for a while there I tried to scientifically figure out at which beer the skills would start to detoriate and what the optimum playing capacity was. If we were to play an intoxication round I would propose modified scoring where you would take the number of kills x the number of beers - the number of suicides. This would prevent those 1 beer pussies from hopping in and taking advantage of the more tanked individuals.

Well, I am sure there are a few people here who remember my outings on SOCOM after Co-ed Softball on Friday nights. Lets put it this way....my grrenades had a tendency to be "off" just a little bit. icon_wink.gif

As leader of said SOCOM Clan, I can attest to the few would play with a few drinks in them. Some of the funniest gameplay/talk was seen & heard during those times :green:

Of course, the problem with this is (as I found last night) that players are always having to stumble off to the bathroom or the fridge every few minutes. I usually have a couple while playing online though, might be fun to go all out. Probably not a good idea for those who get FPS motion sickness.

Speaking of drinking video games... My friend (Thrillho) and I would play drinking All-Star Baseball. Drink for every out, in between innings, and each run scored against you. Then at the end, the victor would count to the number of runs they had while the loser would chug until the counting was done.

Sadly, no Baseball games this year really got us motivated to purchase one...

Merlot you forgot a few things, We would drink 1 beer for a single, 2 for a double and so forth, so when you hit a home run you had do drink 4, and a grand slam was then worth 8. It was really brutal.

We used to get a shore house every summer and the two of us would beat everyone esle there by about an hour every friday night. By the time everyone else would get there we would be smashed already from this game. We actaully had to suspend some of the drinking on the singles doulbes and such because we weren't making it out to the bars.

While it wasn't drinking, and not an Xbox game, I had TONS of fun one night while on shrooms playing Syphon Filter. Wow, what a trip that was. :D Sadly (but probably for the best) those days have long been over for me.

Drinking and playing NFL Blitz with a bunch of your buddies is quite fun.

Well, count me in for some drunken Midtown Madness on Live.
