With LCVG being down for a little bit , I know some will wonder "what am I going to do" . Well there are a few things that you may have forgotten

1)Actually play the video games the next few days, instead of always talking about them

2) See that pile of DVD's by your dvd player? They arent going to watch themselves (so when the site is back up you can do the DVD challenge :) )

3)Since the site may be down up to a week. Get in on some great tv shows. 24 Mondays, Lost Wed and Battlestar Fridays(Hey this one starts tonight so be a head of the game and watch. Sorry had to sneak in some cheap pops :tu:

4) If you have a wife or girlfriend take them out to dinner the next few nights. that way when LCVG is back up they wont bother you for a while, and think you are thoughtfull :green:

Since I rarely visit the site on weekends to begin with, I am not too concerned. What is good though is I have a family free weekend since the little lady and her parents are taking the kids to an indoor waterpark for the cold weekend. :)

So here is my list of things to do this weekend:

1. Play the living hell out of Resident Evil 4

2. Play some Co-Op Ghost Recon 2

3. Play some Co-Op Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

4. Watch The Colts/Patriots game and the Vikings/Eagles game

Download and play Torus Trooper, the latest mad Kenta Cho Freeware Shmup. It's like a cross between Rez, Galaga and STUN Runner, and absolutely brilliant.

Unfortunately, since the download site is blocked at work, you'll need your Googling wits about you if that link is wrong.

edit - just in case you need more info, the new twist is this: You've not got "lives" per se. But every time you die, you'll come to a stop and lose 15 seconds from the clock. Your only hope of getting far is to (a) push up on your stick like a madman to go dangerously fast, in order to quickly (B) kill the bosses that award you with extra time. Chuck in a 'charge shot' that acts like an airbrake while you're charging it, but can clear bullets out of the way and run up gigantic point multipliers when it plows through a load of them, and you've got a really nice risk/reward dynamic.

Plus the music is cool.

- Watch Pats/Colts game (go Pats!)

-Get ass kicked by Bruce at ESPN NFL2K5. ( I swear he cheats. No, really, I wicked swear on my dead cat's grave that he must be hacking ESPN servers so that my team can't move the ball against his weak Dolphin sissys and so that my players jump away from his running back. I swear!)

-Get revenge on Bruce by kicking his ass in Halo2. (Has anyone else kicked Bruce's ass so hard that they heard him squeal like a school girl getting her ponytail pulled? Wait, what am I talking about, of course anyone who has played Bruce in Halo has certainly heard this pitiful, pathetic shrieking!)

- oh, and spank
