Dan B.
I'm about to pick up the complete DVD collection at Amazon.com, but thought I'd see if anyone's looking to part with theirs first.
Romier S
Don't want to part with any of my sets as I do cherish them so but I wanted to ask if you had seen the show before Dan or if you are buying in blind?
Dan B.
I've seen most of the episodes through the end of season 6, so I'm a fan of the show. I noticed that you can get the whole Season 1-7 set for $248 at Amazon, so that's something I'd really like to have. I haven't seen Angel yet though, so I suppose that's something else I'm going to be wanting, especially with some crossover between them. You know, I saw one or two episodes when it originally came out (plus the movie) and I thought it was silly. Then, I kept hearing so much about it that I decided to catch it from the beginning on FX. Now, I think it's one of the best TV shows I've ever seen. Better late than never, right?

Definitely. Just keep in mind that Angel starts out a bit darker than Buffy but in very much the same vein. Around the middle of Season 2 it really starts to become it's own show and it's quite a bit darker in tone. Some folks like that, some don't. I personally prefer the show to Buffy in alot of instances. You know, I saw one or two episodes when it originally came out (plus the movie) and I thought it was silly. Then, I kept hearing so much about it that I decided to catch it from the beginning on FX. Now, I think it's one of the best TV shows I've ever seen. Better late than never, right? I outright refused to watch the show because I really despised the movie. I few of my friends were jabbering about it and a good buddy at work lent me his Season 1 box set. I tookin those first 12 or so episodes and liked it but didn't fall in love with it. The same friend lent me Season 2 and it was all over. I've since become a huge fan of the show and I agree, it was one of the best shows on television. Seasons 3 and 5 especially.
JoeyN
Go to the Fox Store Bonus Site and sign up. If you spend $199 at the store you get a free dvd up to $75. So add Buffy Seasons 1-7 into the cart. It says total is 307.39. However use the coupon code Freakening during checkout instead of which ever bundle code it has there, and it takes 20% off. So the total for the 7 sets is $245.61. Plus you get to choose a 1 free item up to $75. Its a better deal if you select a more expensive item as the free one. I found this today over at dvdtalk. A bunch of people have done it for a combination of stuff. capt
