HoolieMan
Hey guys, I am having a problem with my Halo stats and I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing anything similiar. For a while now (over a month) I have not been able to see my ranking or any of my friend's rankings while playing online. You know before a game where it lists the players on each team and their rank is next to their username? Well, the ranking is just blank for me. (and my friends) Sometimes it will be me, two of my friends, and a random guy on a team of 4 and we can only see the rank of the other guy on the team. If I go to bugie.net/stats I can see my ranking just fine. Is this a glitch or am I just missing something? Thanks.
Carlucci
I think I heard somewhere that there is a glitch that if you are NOT in a clan, you rank might not show up on Live. Carlos.
Jon W H
It's been that way for me since November, too. Since I can see it via stats on Live or Bungie.net, I'm okay with it.
Spike
It's definitely because you're not in a clan. Look through people on your friends list and in the "recent players" section if you do some matchmaking... you will notice people with no ranking aren't in a clan. I've had the same thing with mine since the LCVG clan disbanded.
Jon W H
Is that why I'm getting at least one clan invite nearly every outing? Getting tired of all those... been thinking about starting my own just to get people to quit trying to get me to sign up with their clan. jason
Sorry to burst your bubble, but being in a clan doesn't stop other people from inviting you. If you're good you're good, although I'd rather have ladies inviting me to join their "clan" instead of six year olds...
Jon W H
Sorry to burst your bubble, but being in a clan doesn't stop other people from inviting you. Ah, yeah. I forgot you can't see if people are in a clan from the lobby rooms. So much for that idea. Maybe an ignore (general or clan) invites will be part of the 3.0 spec. I just happen to like being a mercenary playing anybody in the ranked matches for now. More variety for me, keeps me sharper.
