Anthony G
I'm going through NFL withdrawals. What's your team doing? Re-signing's, free agency pick-ups, draft... My team (the Jets) have lost Lamont Jordan to the Raiders, Jason Ferguson to Dallas and have dropped the ball on some excellent WR's.
JoeyN
My team the NY Football Giants are close to signing Linebacker Antonio pierce. The papers today say they are trying to get Kareem McKenzie who the jets should have resigned, and are keeping a eye on the Plaxico Burress situation. They also are looking for a blocking tight end. Even though im a giants fan i follow the jets and like to see them win. I can not believe the direction they have gone in. They should not have franchised Abraham, and resigned at least two of the other three capt
EnemaEms
Well, I just became the GM of my friends Fantasy Team (this is a hardcore fantasy league) and our Free Agency starts on April 1st. L.T. is our #1 concern on getting signed to play for our team. With all my researching going on, I am not having withdrawls. As far as the Packers go, we are just holding our breaths on the Hillbilly's decision to retire or not. :thud -Dean-
exile
As far as the Packers go, we are just holding our breaths on the Hillbilly's decision to retire or not I wonder if seeing Rivera go will force his hand. He may not want to play behind a substandard line if they keep losing players. I know a tackle of theirs was on the FA list too and headed to Carolina. I'm going to be a very grumpy Jet fan unless they sign Burress and somebody to replace Jordan (maybe Blaylock). Becht is a disaster (probably end up wasting another draft pick for a TE). I won't even go into our defense. :thud
exile
probably end up wasting another draft pick for a TE). Going after the guy from Virigina or the former QB from Arkansas whom ran a 4.2/3 40 at the combine might be worthwhile pick. Blaylock wouldn't be a bad signing either. Darius
Well the dolphins coaching staff is finally in place with the addition of defensive Coordinator. Patrick Surtain is getting some interest from the chiefs and a few other teams for possible trades. Junior Seau will be restructuring his contract so he can come back. Jay Fiedler has been released (good riddance) Things are still up in the air as far as what the dolphins will do with their #2 pick. We badly need a LT, RB and QB. Or in other words an offense . Chances are slim that we'll get Edgerrin James as was rumored last off-season since the colts have franchised him.
JoeyN
Indy release Pollard today . Jets wake up and sign him
Jon W H
I'm going through NFL withdrawals. What's your team doing? Re-signing's' date=' free agency pick-ups, draft... My team (the Jets) have lost Lamont Jordan to the Raiders, Jason Ferguson to Dallas and have dropped the ball on some excellent WR's.[/quote'] They're still somewhat in negotiations for L. Coles (albeit not offering Washington Santana Moss anymore), and they really want to delegate Moss to #3, so I can see them going hard after Coles or drafting a WR in the first/second round. They still have a shot at re-signing Kareem McKenzie, though. They'll probably draft a WR in the first two rounds along with a DT, then chase TE and OLs. Perhaps Clarett in the 5th to back up CuMart. Anthony G
Blaylock wouldn't be a bad signing either. JETS signed him to a 5 year contract :rock They're still somewhat in negotiations for L. Coles I would be happy with that. Indy release Pollard today . Jets wake up and sign him Maybe they can sign him and trade him to the Giants for Shockey

Jon W H
Yep, McKenzie went to the Giants today. Jets did sign Jeb Putzier of Denver to an offer sheet. Sounds like a hard contract to match, but Denver probably wishes they'd get more than a 6th rounder. I think the Blaylock signing is great. He was a really good backup in KC. They're already saying they want him to touch the ball 10-15 times a game. The Jets felt they overworked Martin last season. Not sure if I agree with "overworked", but anything to keep the little fella fresh is good for the playoff push, I guess. Anyway, with that, I think they'll probably focus more on OL in the draft as the current FA are getting an awful lot of money this off-season and probably pass up Clarett in/around the 5th after all. Also saw that Kelly Holcomb signed with the Bills. That's a shocker - he had pretty much a starting job locked up with the Browns. I guess he'd rather give them the thumbs down and compete with/mentor JP Losman. Browns are going to have to scramble for not only a starting QB, but also an experienced backup. JoeyN
Giants just need a wide reciever and a blocking TE and they are all set. Great signings this week capt
JoeyN
Well ESPN is reporting the Coles to the Jets for santana moss is almost official. Plus they signed Denvers TE to a offer sheet which Denver probably will not match. At least they are getting the offense in order capt

Jon W H
Nah believe it or not the kicker is staying capt Boo! Boo, I say! I'd prefer just about anybody to him. Boy, the Cardinals sure look pointed in the right direction this off-season with all their moderately-priced recent free agent signings. I can't help but think Warner's going to love throwing. JohnEBGood
It looks like Plax is going to sign with the Vikings as well. I'm not sure I'd be willing to gamble the house on that guy.
Jeff W
Lions fan here (I can't help where I was born), I think signing Kenoy Kennedy gives them a little nastiness they were lacking in the backfield and the signing of Marcus Pollard means they won't be going after Heath Miller in the draft, probably a good thing as they need to get some help on the line. I know Mariucci wants to get Garcia to back up/push Harrington for the starting job but I think Warner would have been a better fit, I know he's gone now so they better get in gear and get somebody as McMahon is now gone to Philly. Edit: Garcia signed
Jon W H
It looks like Plax is going to sign with the Vikings as well. I'm not sure I'd be willing to gamble the house on that guy. As opposed to Randy Moss? It's not a done deal by any stretch. The insiders are saying this guy has been a pain in the butt to deal with as a free agent already. I'd say he's costing himself a lot of money with that attitude. He left Minnesota without a contract offer. So far, the Giants' offer of $8 million was the best, but he refused to take a physical. Moron. He's supposedly going to Philadelphia for a visit now.
