jhfagan
Well, we were blessed with DVD releases of The Transformers, Star Blazers, Battle of the Planets, GI-Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, and others. And it seems that we are going to see Thundercats soon, and possibly He-Man as well. Very excited for those, especially Thundercats. I for one, will not rest though, until I see an official release of The Tick, and X-Men. THE definitive cartoons on saturday mornings of the 90's, IMO. I haven't heard any word on these two jems of a cartoon being released in the near future. Anyone have any info on these, or other classic cartoons that aren't out yet, or announced, that you'd like to see come to DVD?

Agreed, but come on lets at least go back to the eighties and get Turbo Teen, or Pole Postion :lmfao
jhfagan
Hmm.... well, how about Inspector Gadget? There's a dynamite cartoon... :drool Actually, that WOULD be a cool one to see too.
Thrillho
Inspector Gadget wasn't Saturday morning, it was an everyday afterschool cartoon.
Anthony G
especially Thundercats Ditto! Anybody remember the 1 hour pilot episode?
Mark E
Inspector Gadget would have been better if it hadn't pummelled its one single joke into total oblivion . They need to release a huge set of good old Saturday's Supercade. None of those shows was terribly memorable, but hey, it'd fit with the site's theme, right? I consider myself fortunate that Batman and Gargoyles, two of my faves, are on DVD already. Now if only there was Darkwing Duck...

"Saturday morning and after school with Ellios Pizza and Cool Ranch Doritos cartoons." :tu

Romier S
orgnial ninja turtles Already being released Bobbio. You can buy Season 1 (which is only a few episodes) here: http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_item.asp?userid=99364050562618&searchID=344841&item_id=586044 It also includes 4 never released episodes from Season 10. Season two of the classic TMNT is also due on 4.26 for 10 bucks: http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_item.asp?userid=99364050562618&searchID=344841&item_id=661028 Ducktales Hell yeah. Possibly my favorite cartoon of all time. You can add Darkwing Duck to the list. :tu GI-Joe Looks like we'll be forced to wait for more of these sets. Rhino recently lost the license to GI-Joe making a release from them impossible. Supposedly Season 2 Part 2 will be thier last release of the show. The rights have apparently reverted to Paramount along with the rights to the Tranformers (which thankfully had a full series release on DVD). tiac
I'm really excited about the Thundercats! When did Gargoyles come out? I need to pick that up. I really like to see Dino-riders in a set. The toys were great.
iainl
Ulysses 31, please. Or perhaps not. I bought the first Battle Of The Planets set, and oh boy did it destroy my childhood memories. Still, The Clangers and Bagpuss are still as great as ever - I want Ivor The Engine, damnit!
Angry the Clown
I'm still waiting for a worthy Region2 release of Count Duckula. Daniel
Mark E
When did Gargoyles come out? It came out last December, all 13 episodes of Season One. Very nice set, looks great and it has an informative commentary on the first five eps as well.
ChoiceStriker
I might be showing my age by asking this, but how about the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and the Legend of Zelda cartoons? Those were the highlight of my day when I was a kid. Zelda on Fridays... Excuuuuuse me, Princess! You can watch some episodes of those on Yahooligans! although I warn you, you may be amazed at how shockingly awful they are. Also, how about Captain N: The Game Master... now those were some freakish interpretations of Nintendo characters (Simon Belmont, Mother Brain, King Hippo and Eggplant Wizard, etc.), but I didn't think much about it when I was a kid. Darius
I'll show more age. How about the original dungeons and dragons cartoon. I used to love that on saturday mornings. In the non saturday morning cartoons I would also love to see Ducktales. Great cartoon and I always liked Uncle Scrooge in the comics. How about some Richy Rich too.
