dogbert
Again. Back in the early days of the GameCube, Nintendo signed a similiar deal to use GameSpy's software as a middleware network provider for GameCube online games.
JFo
Brian; Given what Iwata said at GDC though, don't you think it's much more likely that Nintendo will actually end up taking advantage of an online gaming network?
dogbert
Given what Iwata said at GDC though, don't you think it's much more likely that Nintendo will actually end up taking advantage of an online gaming network? I think I'll believe it when I see it. I think Nintendo still doesn't understand XBox Live or PC style online gaming. They might get it right with the DS, but I suspect in the longterm, they're still going to misjudge the market.
