Romier S
Ok, Keira Knightly running around with weaponry, hunting down a payday already sounds pretty decent to me. :tu Add in Mickey Rourke as her partner, Christopher Walken and what appears to be a great supporting cast I think we may have a winner. Tony Scott is directing so you can expect the same type of fast editing/filtered look that all of his films carry. Regardless, I loved Man On Fire and I'm liking the trailer for this one. Dave C
Watch the dvd tonight. Curious as to what you guys thought of this film... Normly I enjoy Tony Scott's films (True Romance) and Richard Kelly's writing (Donnie Darko) but I thought this was too overly stylized for my tastes. Also, I think I may have enjoyed the film more if it were linear rather than using too many interweaving flashbacks and dream sequences. Quentin Tarantino does a much better job of telling a story that way.
PHiL
I thought It was a good movie, however not one of Keira Knightley's Best performances. I truthfully did not mind the flashbacks, but you are right wetwork it could have been better if it were linear. Ok, Keira Knightly running around with weaponry, hunting down a payday already sounds pretty decent to me. :tu :iagree :tu Heres Some Pics From Domino and Other Keira Movies.. http://www.keiraknightley.com/media/thumbnails.php?album=lastup&cat=
exile
Great Soundtrack, Great video quality, odd movie. I do agree that if it were linear it would have been better. Still quite enjoyable. I didn't mind the over stylization of the film. It worked for me but I can see why some would be overly annoyed by it.
