JoeyN
Im pretty excited for tommorow night. Wrestlemania is always something i look forward to. Last years was pretty crappy to say the least. However i dont know how they can screw up these match's World Heavyweight Championship Batista vs. Triple H WWE Championship John Cena vs. JBL Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels Piper's Pit with Stone Cold Steve Austin 6 man Money-In-The-Bank Ladder Match Jericho, Kane, Christian, Benoit, Edge, Benjaim Women's Championship Christy vs. Trish Legend Killer Match Undertaker vs. Randy Orton Sumo Match Big Show vs. Akebono Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero
JoeyN
Here are my picks Batista- They set him up so much he better win John Cena- Its time for JBl to loose the belt for a while Shawn Michaels Christian- Im going out on a limb but this guy deserves a big push. The match im most looking forward to Trish- I doubt they will christy the title Undertaker-Ortons gonna have surgery soon. Nuff said Akebono- Dont really care much who wins though :-) Eddie G - Just think hes the better wrestler
EnemaEms
This has got to be one of the most lackluster WM line-ups in awhile. Only interest I have is HBK/Angle, and I'll catch that later. -Dean-
JoeyN
Last years lineup was great but it ended up being the worst in a long time capt
jhfagan
Nothing will ever beat the Dog Pound match with Big Boss Man, for lamest match, from Wrestlemania a few years ago. That was the biggest waist of 1/2 an hour of my life that I'll never get back.
JoeyN
lol yeah that match was horrible. The Goldberg/Lesnar match was the bigger pile of shit ever. What a let down that was capt
EnemaEms
I dont know, all of the big matches have no one that can carry the other guy. I forgot about the ladder match, that should be good since you have Y2J, Edge, Christian, and Shelton in there. JBL/Cena will be rough to watch since Cena cant wrestle his way out of a paper bag. Orton/Taker looks to be either resthold city, or a quickie with UT winning due to Orton's injury. HHH/Batista will be real good or real shit, depending on what type of mood HHH is in. Trish/Christy has no right of being on a PPV. The Sumo match is another waste. HBK/Angle should steal the show. This has been a dreammatch for me for quite some time. -Dean-
AnthonyVolpe
Not watching it and don't care to... However, I offer the following predictions World Heavyweight Championship Triple H - Triple H will either want to extend this feud further or just bury Batista so he can retain his position as the WWE's Alpha Male ? wanna win 11 WWE titles? Bang one of Vince's kids. This match will be a waste of 30-45 minutes. NEXT... WWE Championship John Cena - Bradshaw sucks, he should have never been given the title let alone retain it for 9 months, and it's time to get the belt off of his fat statutory-rape-committing ass. Why the hell did the WWE let the Rock go??? "Two Guys with Fused Spinal Columns" Match Kurt Angle - he needs to seriously regain some momentum ? expect a Match Of The Year candidate Piper's Pit with Stone Cold Steve Austin Wifebeater! What? Alcoholic! What? Sherriff Yeehaw! What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What? Kick, stunner, beers everywhere, NEXT... 6 man Who Gets to Job to Triple-H Next? Ladder Match Shelton Benjamin - Jericho, Kane, and Benoit already had their title runs, Christian will never be a main eventer, and Edge is in the doghouse for cheating on his wife with Lita ? expect a prompt burial by Triple H once Shelton "cashes in" his match ? this match itself should be fantastic as long as you turn the sound down to drown out the "homewrecker" chants the crowd will be giving Edge Women's Championship Trish - Gail Kim won her first match in the WWE and took the title, but Gail is an actual WRESTLER - I doubt Christy will win Legend Killer Match Undertaker ? Dorkboy Orton is one of the most overrated wrestlers in the company's history and has spent more time on the shelf than he has in the ring ? he should be shipped back to Ohio Valley ASAP ? I will be satisfied with nothing less than a squash Sumo Match Akebono Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero The fact that three of the worst wrestlers in the company (four if you count Cena - I actually like him) are in the two main events and THIS match is at the bottom of the card is absolutely sickening - expect Guererro to win and expect one of the best matches of the night
Rob B
Here are my picks Batista- They set him up so much he better win John Cena- Its time for JBl to loose the belt for a while Shawn Michaels Christian- Im going out on a limb but this guy deserves a big push. The match im most looking forward to Trish- I doubt they will christy the title Undertaker-Ortons gonna have surgery soon. Nuff said Akebono- Dont really care much who wins though :-) Eddie G - Just think hes the better wrestler Batista- Agreed John Cena - Agreed Shawn Michaels Curt Angle- Dunno how this one will go no prediction for me 6 man Who Gets to Job to Triple-H Next? Ladder Match - I'm Calling Kane on this one simply because of Last Mondays Raw whe they had Kane postioned agianst the WM sign after the HR that turned into a brawl. Trish- I doubt they will christy the title....though it does say something about Chrsity being the champ on the cover of Playboy? I browerd your pic link hope thats ok Cameron. Undertaker-Ortons gonna have surgery soon. Nuff said - Dissagree I think Orton will when this, thus leading Taker to decide to retire, he is perrty old. I don't think he wants his career to end up like Ric Flairs, a joke. Flair needs to give it up, he old, flabby, and his to land on his side every time he get fliped over some one so he dosn't pop a hip or hurt himself. Akebono- Dont really care much who wins though- agreed Eddie G - Just think hes the better wrestler. I like both guys to much to pick a side. but I will agree that it will propably be Eddie that takes this. Just because of Chavos "egging him on" drama thats been going on and thus destroyin a great tag team creation.
Sparkz
I used to be a big wrestling fan and watched all the WCW and WWF PPVs in the late 90's, but began to lose interest when they introduced the separate Raw and Smackdown brands. I've watched bits and pieces of Raw over the past year, enough to follow the story lines, and the Batista/HHH main event was enough to make me cave and buy it. I liked it. Was really impressed by Shelton Benjamin, and loved it when he ran up the ladder for a clothesline. Favorite match was the Angle/Michaels match. I almost believed it when JR shrieked that Angle lost a tooth! And HHH/Batista delivered on expectations. HHH's entrance was great, except the last time I watched a Wrestlemania, Motorhead was playing his entrance music live. Does this happen every year? Also, I haven't watched a lot of Smackdown, so was curious how Eddie Guerrero could go from the main event one year to the opener the next? Chris F
Better than a thumbs in the middle PPV, but not a full thumbs up PPV either. Absolutely NO surprises in terms of winners. Things that I liked: The ladder match. It was a bit too short, and not as many "HOLY SHIT" inducing spots as I would've liked. I really wish they'd give Jericho a title and let him keep it a LONG time. He consistently impresses me. I wouldn't mind Christian getting a belt either. Nice that Edge got the W though. Maybe he can go around a fuck some other wrestlers gf/wife now. Orton / 'Taker. I couldn't believe this match was as good as it was. I haven't seen 'Taker move that quick since his old days. Unsuprising ending, but a good match overall. Batista winning. Man, I've waited for this a long time. I just hop he hols it for a while. I said earlier to some friends that he NEEDED a strong decisive win over Cripple H so that he'd be a strong champion. They did it exactly the way I would have done it. Things I hated: Hemme vs. Trish. I said if that match went over 5 minutes in length, it would be a waste. I was right. Mysterio / Guerrero. Could have been good, but too many blown spots took me right out of it. Also, where the hell did this match come from? Cena / JBL - Ugh. Now I love Cena. He can't wrestle worth a shit, but I love his character and charisma. But that match was too short, and I hate any matches that JBL wrestles. Thank god he's not the champ any more. Cena also needed a decisive victory over JBL, didn't quite get it IMO. Angle / HBK. Maybe my tastes have changed, but I hated this match. It was slow, ponderous and not exciting at all. Yet everyone called it the best match of the night. Go figure. A lot of stuff I liked, a lot I didn't, but the matches I did like pushed it over the thumbs in the middle rating. JoeyN
HBK/Angle was the match of the night without a doubt. Im a fan of the old type matchs with the grapple holds, back and forth kick outs and so forth. Batista/HHH was right up there . Batista really messed him up. Taker/Orton was very good as well. ortons reversal into the RKO was excellent Everything else was pretty crappy IMO. A lot of the match's felt very rushed even though the PPV was 4 hours capt
Starhawk
I felt this was a really good PPV, not one of the best Wrestlemanias, but better than last years. My Likes: Eddie v. Rey Mysterio: I dont know what the setup was for this match, but it was good. Ladder match: Really good, I just fucking hate Edge. Will he ever escape the 90s? Angle v. Shawn Michaels: I dont know what's wrong with Chris, but this was the best match of the night, by far. Watching Christy Wrestle. Carlito Cool or whatever you call him. Love that guy. HOGAN: Goddammit, I fucking love anytime Hogan is on the TV. As crazy as it sounds, that may have been one of my favorite moments of the night. My dislikes: Big Show Sumo Match. yawn Stone Cold and Roddy Piper. What was the point of that? That's not cool. Watching Christy Wrestle JBL v. Cena: What an awful main event! JoeyN
The Hogan thing was the moment of the night IMO. Does not matter how old he gets, how many times he comes and goes. Hogan will always be the Icon of Wrestling and will always be the most popular wrestler of all time capt
