Covak
I hear it's going down tonight at midnight (Pacific Time, I'm guessing, along with the stats reset). Anyone know for certain? I'm thrilled that slayer on Colossus and Beaver Creek will feature human weapons only. Plasma pistol + battle rifle really was getting old on those maps. As for the rest of the changes, I haven't really played anything but team slayer lately so I don't have much of an opinion, but they all sound good. Be nice to have the new maps in play, too. Though I kinda wish they'd get rid of Coagulation for small team games. For some reason I've been seeing that for 4v4 team slayer way more often than Midship. I'm talking 5+ hours straight without seeing Midship, while Coagulation popped up a few times. I don't get it :/ What I'd really like to see is sniper rifles removed from all modes, but I understand that's unlikely
Carlucci
I'm starting to see reports that the new playlists are active. I haven't seen confirmation that everyone is reset to a level 1 yet. Should be interesting to fight your way back up. Carlos.
Covak
So like, woah, 2v2 is intense I kinda love it, but it can also accentuate what I hate about Halo 2, so I'm not sure how much I'll play it. I think I still like 4v4 team slayer best. But for now, 2v2 is really fresh and exciting.
foogledricks
We'll see how fresh and exciting it is when you're on your back.

It was definitely intense, but I've found that unless you whore the rocket/overshield/sword, you won't stand a chance against teams that do just that. Carlos.
