JoeyN
I did this in the fall and got a lot of looks so I decided to do it again * All Times EST 4400 June 5th 9 PM USA Network 4400 was a miniseries last summer about 4400 people from different time periods who were upducted and then returned to the present day. Were they taken by aliens or something else? We got some answers, but it opened up a entirely other set of question. Was definatly a big hit last summer, and one of the shows im most looking forward to. If you get a chance rent or pick up the DVD The Inside June 8th Fox A new show on Fox which is about team of cops who hunt down serial killers The Dead Zone June 12th 10 PM USA Network When we last left the show Johnny had just had a vision of his future self which left him with a dilemma. Stop Rebecca or let her shoot his nemisis. Dead Zone was picked up for 23 episodes after last season. They will probably split them up into two seperate parts. However its still good to see this great show is growing each season. Rescue Me June 21st 10 PM FX network When people talk about the FX Network they all mention the Shield. However there is a nother excellent show on that network. Rescue Me stars Dennis Leary as a Fighter fighter with Issues a few years after 9/11. You also get to know the rest of his crew and all there problems, and funny stuff as well. Its a excellent show which should get more attention Monk July 8th 10PM EST USA Network After a short run at the start of the year (something i still dont understand) the obessive compulsive detective returns the rest of the season with new cases's and maybe finally will find out what happened to his wife years ago Monk this season got back on track as he got a new assistant who in the end turned out better then the last. Lots of laughs and excellent acting is why this show is one of the best on cable Stargate SG-1 Friday July 15th Scifi Channel Season 9 of SG-1 is a new start all around. Carter, Daniel and Teal'c are still around but there are bunch of new cast members, A New Admiral played by Beau Bridges, a new team leader played by Ben Browder (John Crichton from Farscape), Claudia Black who was also on Faracape will be in the first 6 episodes of the season,Louis Goslett will play a Jafa leader, and Lexa Doig becomes the new Cheif Medical Officer who also happens to be the daughter of Beau Bridges Charector. On top of that add in a new enemy with a mysterious link to the Ancients and you got a crazy new season Stargate Atlantis July 15th Scifi Channel Well you didnt think SG-1 would be the only show with some new cast members. We get a new charector who is a alien from there part of the galaxy, and Mitch Pileggi (Skinner from thr X-files) joins part time as the captain of the Dauedlus . Look for this season to dwelve for into whot he wraith are, and a lot more about the ancients. Battlestar Galactica July 15th Scifi Channel The show we are all waiting for. The Hit show which may be one of the best scifi shows in a long while returns. Did adama survive?, will Lee be put in jail?, will Starbuck be able to get off Caprica?, What the hell is Baltar going to do? Thats only a few questions left to be answerd. Is it July yet? Over There July FX Network A Brand New Show about Soliders in Iraq Well thats it for now. There are some other shows rumored to start in July /August but no new info yet
Carlucci
Joey, thanks for this! :tu Lots of good shows coming up. I remember the days when there was nothing but reruns and crap on TV in summer. Times sure have changed. I'll be watching: 4400 Dead Zone Rescue Me Battlestar Galactica Over There and probably a few of the others, too. Carlos. Angel P
When people talk about the FX Network they all mention the Shield. However there is a nother excellent show on that network. Rescue Me indeed is an excellent show and I'm looking forward to the new season but also would like to mention Nip/Tuck s3 will be arriving sometime this summer. Although the quality has dropped considerably, Six Feet Under will have it's season premiere June 6. This being the final season, I hope they can make it a memorable one. Entourage s2 will debut June 5.

Starts June 10 with lots of repeats. I'm definitely gonna watch the first episode to see how it goes. Carlos.
Romier S
Anyone care to expand on The 4400? I see the DVD is due to release the second week of June and the commercials for the second season really have me interested (even if they interrupt my current Law and Order SVU obsession ). I'm pretty much just looking for opinions on the story, writing etc.? The more information the better, though with the first season releasing for only 20 bucks I might just go ahead and take the dive.
Graeme
Anyone care to expand on The 4400? I see the DVD is due to release the second week of June The DVD has been out since December. I've heard good things, but never got around to watching it, even though I meant to. I saw a bit of one episode but it was in the middle of the series and I had no idea what was going on. Romier S
The DVD has been out since December. You're right. I took the "rerelease" info on DVDEmpire as being a new release. Apologies for that. I guess I'll be making a trip to Media Play tommorrow.
JoeyN
I cant wait till the new season of 4400 starts. The miniseries last summer was the highest rated premiere in cable history, and the final episode opened up a ton of new questions The show is about 4400 people who are suddenly returned to earth after being abducted over the past 100 years or so. The question is taken by who? The shows main premise is about two homeland security agents trying to figure out what happened to these people as the agents have family members who are a part of the 4400 The miniseries middle episodes played out kind of like the X-files. Each episode had arcs for 7-8 main charectors, but the Agents each week would investiage strange happens by one of the 4400 . capt
Starhawk
This is a little out of category, but The WB is going to ba airing a show called "Beauty & The Geek" starting Wednesday, June 1st. They showed us a preview of the show a few weeks ago, and it looks really freekin funny. Basically, these geeks have to team up with gorgeous girls in this reality show from the producers of Punkd. The guys try to impress the girls and while helping them with intellectual skills, while the girls have to help the geeks with social skills, i.e dancing, fashion. One of the geeks from the show says he doesnt have time for women because he's too busy being the vice-president of the Dukes of Hazzard fan club. :lmfao And, when one of the beauties is asked a question about D-Day and 1942, she says "No, in 1942 Columbus sailed the ocean blue..." :lmfao Anyway, if you are into this kind of show, check it out. Im really looking forward to it.

JoeyN
Excellent start to the season. Glad to see all the major cast members back, and it was great to see Jeff Combs. Looks like he may be on the show every once and a while. Also Summer Glau had no problem playing her part , as its the same acting as on Firefly/Serenity
CaptainRon
I thought it was good as well. That ending brought in some serious questions for me too. So baffled as to the scientists role, can't wait to see how it plays out.
