Which next-gen console system(s) will you get?

I said 360 and Revolution. 360 for the simple fact its the new xbox with even more live games and play. Revolution as it will play the GC games, the past games DL to the system and gotta have a nintendo system in the house.

 

I didnt mention PS3 for the simple fact i want to see there online plan. Sony dissapointed with the PS2 when before launch they hinted at a larger online community. If they do get that area going Ill probably pick one up

All 3, pretty sure. Like Joey, the only one I would even hesitate on is the PS3, and for the same reason. (some LIVE-like online strategy)

 

I will definitely get 1 xbox 360 on release day, and probably another for the kids upstairs within a few months of that. (with their saved allowance money)

 

The PS3 I can wait for, but we'll have to see how it goes.

 

The revolution on release day for sure. Me and nintendo go Waaaay back and I could never let down an old friend.

Right now I'm leaning towards the 360 and the Revolution myself, not that I have any money for any consoles right now .

 

Revolution because I gotta have my Nintendo. And 360 because I like Silicon Knights a ton. I'll probably get a PS3 if Resident Evil goes back there, but otherwise two's good.

Yes you did, along with the 360 and Revolution. PS3 certainly looks like one, anyway.

 

None of them for me at launch, as I don't think for one moment I'll be able to afford them. I'm bound to get all three eventually, though - all three have firstparty franchises I'd like to continue with.

Assuming the Revolution comes through with the goods, which I do, then definitely all 3 of them.

But both my Xbox (Phantom Dust) and our Gamecube (multiple games) suddenly started getting Disc Read Errors recently, so I suspect I will end up with the new systems just because of the Backwards compatibility.

 

So much for Sony having the exclusive DRE problem.

Which one first? Probably the PS3 unless they come out at the rumored $500 mark (**** that). In that case probably a Revolution.

PS3 definitely for all the single player games as well as BluRay. 360 when an online game that I must have or some other exclusive comes out. I'm really not thrilled with Live as of late - sick of all the asshats. Revolution eventually, probably for some big Zelda title.

I'm a PS3 only at the moment. Same old complaints as always, Microsoft has so few games I want to play, but Sony for the time being appears to still have the developers and titles that I want. I care less than little about online support in a console.

 

Once Nintendo figures their shit out, I'll probably have their console as well. I just can't say that right now, because for all I know things are just going to go wrong there.

 

All things said, landscape could change drastically, and I will always follow the games to the platform they land on. Which means Microsoft has a remote chance.

Just the Revolution for me at this point. Probably at launch depending on the titles available.

 

I might buy the other two, but the emphasis is strongly on might.
