Chris F
Try this: http://www.psphacker.com/2005/06/dead-pixel-cleaner.html I have 3-4, and I'm trying it now to see if anything happens. While I doubt it will work, I see no harm in trying it out. Once it's through running (takes about 20 minutes) I'll report back with any findings. Romier S
Sweet. Going to give it a shot myself since I have one on the left hand side of my screen. I'll report back with any results as well.
Chris F
Well, ran it twice, didn't clear up my dead pixel issue. Not that I really care. I don't even notice them, especially since the few I have are on the edges.
PoisonJam
I am going with the ostrich approach on this and not checking my screen for dead pixels at all. I don't notice any now when I am playing games, and if I discover that I do have some then I'm sure they will soon become all I see during gameplay. Much the same way that once I figured out what the chroma bug on my DVD player was, I now cringe whenever something red shows up in a movie. It's like when someone walks up to you and says, "DON'T THINK ABOUT BOOBIES RIGHT NOW! DON'T DO IT!"

I have 4 and as time goes by, I notice them less and less, which is to say never. I had the opportunity to return it to the Playstation store for a replacement, but I didn't. fishepa
I have one on mine and it doesn't bother me at all.
Jeff W
I've got one as well but if this has a chance of getting rid of it, then hell, I'm game.
MastaRedSnappa
I had 2 dead pixels which were only noticeable on the screen when it was displaying a constant light color. I just checked for them again and I couldn't find them at all. I wasn't even aware the dead pixels could be brought back from the dead. Maybe all that porn I watch on it fixed it. Romier S
Didn't do jack for me either. Though I'm in the same boat as Ed. I don't even notice them anymore. Damn if I could find them either without having a flat black background or something of the like.
